when reading rediff articles you have to be your own editor(edit out what you want)--words twisted out of context, wrong data, deliberate insinuationa etc are the hall mark of all these rediff reports esp to do with either cricket or movies!!
I think this sort of comparision is unwarranted...Akhtar may have some commitments to the orphanage and might just be honoring those!! Rediff would do well to avoid such comparisions which show the Indian cricketers in poor light!!
They had done this even during the Indo-Aus series during which they had come with a news that said that the Aussies were working in the nets while the Indians took an off day....
Now, they have contrasted by saying that the Indians went for a movie while Akhtar went to an orphanage....
The fact is that Akhtar had also gone for a wild party in chandigarh...he might have made certain commitments to that orphanage and is thus paying a madatory visit!!
I think it is high time rediff shows a bit of maturity in reporting and avoids superficial journalism!!
Is is a news, a scribble or just somebody has written a daily report? why they are wasting space giving such articles when there is no real news? Somebody will do something and the other the other thing, when they are not busy in their actual work. What is the story in that?
