I do certainly believe that it was the regular batting changing of positions that took the worst turn for Irfan. More emphasis was given to his batting. He is an excellent player. & Needs to be nurtured well. And I hope he come back with a bang just like Zaheer Khan. Another surprise element was that the Indian seem to be wary of playing Sreesanth. He's got potential and we need to see that. Lets hope the Indian Team combines itself and plays like "Team India"
i think paras is correct about ranadeb bose...i think he is currently the best bowler in country. he should be in team. I think BCCI should also give chance to Praveen Kumar...he can be a good all-rounder.
I dont understand how can a guy forget how to swing the ball suddenly? I mean he was his swinging best when he started and not at a bad speed also. I think BCCI and more PATHAN should ask WASIM AKRAM for help. May be even go to Pakistan for a couple of weeks and spend time with WASIM. After all, he is the BEST left-arm swing baller ever. I am sure he can give him good pep talk and clear out his flaws....all u need pathan is to ask...Dont be a dumbass ignorant like sachin, sourav....

Guruji, Couldn't agree with you more. But at the end of your mail, what was the need to abuse Sourav and Sachin. Because its fashionable to give them gaalis these days, is it?
Give him a opportunity.. He is best all rounder.He bowl's with his limitatioan and number of occassion he has knocked some runs. He should get a chance definitely he wil prove. Certainly he is better , better than Agarkar,Zaheer,Munaf......
Hi readers and peoples who involve in interview ererybody is talking about the problems but no one is trying to help our players everybody is having ego. but it is mistake of irfan also he must ask for help.
when the player fails miserably in performing during a certain tour disucss certain things and try him again, even if he fails then try him again until he succeeds on indian pitches against a minnow team and make him a big star. that what the certain things ARE......look at aussies, Newzealand and South african international teams......they have quality of fighting players who never give up till the end....and look at our indian stuff........its hard for our guys to reach them.....just forget it....
Irfan still has much much cricket in him left to serve India.He is our best strike bowler. He seems to be hiding his injuries and fears. That is affecting his performance negatively. Pathan should cut down on his weight and undergo thorough fitness training and test. He has to come back, we need him also.
Good coach may not have to be a good record holder as aplayer himself. Mhambrey has proved himself by shaping up Bengal bowlers who were key in getting bengal on top again. Well said Mhambrey on our present stock of pacers.
