So it has to come to this... we are interviewing third rate bowler from mumbai who flopped miserably and was tendulkar's mumbai lover boyz. At the least I think only Srinath can give an interview abt fast bowlers in india..Charas didnt even know fast bowling and here is advising as though he was Mcgrath or something.. Look up rediff, see the quality of person you are interviewing..

Well said. I am sorry but i heard a lot about Munaf bowling fast! Is it really happening? My memory says i hardly saw him crossing 130K and thus gives lot of time for the batsmen to react after reading the line. Speed does have an element of surprise and both line, length and speed are critical. Not too sure why so many guys want us to belive that bowling fast is not an asset for a bowler.
The guy is victim of loosing favours a wrong time. Even if he was the only player in SA to score useful run up in order. Was he threatening place of RD?
Can somebody sit down with Paras Mhambrey and give him some "assurance" that he might be picked up for the next tour of Australia? A player shd be picked on his performance. If a guy is not performing, he shd be relegated to the place where he belongs. The next in line shd be given a chance. At the international level, the players shd be able to show their skills... They shd not expect to be tutored... Out of form players (shewag.. tendulkar etc) shd step aside and play again when they are in form... Spot at the inetarnational level shd be earned.. not a birth right after they perform for a certain period

my dear fellow... don't ever try to become a manager of a team, please....
you will destroy everyone in the team. Look what Greg with that kind of stupid attitude did to the indian team. You have a lot to learn about human psychology and man-management!
they just want to take 2 odd wickets and continue to be part of team . they don't want to bowl fast . look at Munaf.. He is bowling at 120 Kmph and thinks he is McGrath.

Relax Abdul, be fair and unbiased. Irfan presently looks injured. He will make a great comeback. he is our best strike bowler.

Irfan still has much much cricket in him left to serve India. He is our best strike bowlers. He seems to be hiding his injuries. That is affecting his performance negatively. Pathan should cut down on his weight and undergo thorough fitness training and test
India has RP Singh, Ishanth Sharma, Yomahesh, Abid Nabi and other younger quick bowlers emerging from the Under 19's. Who needs Pathan? Pathan like Balaji is history. Even Munaf and Sreesanth are going out like Pathan. If they play one match they get injured.

Hey dude... its Team India who needs a player like Pathan with all-round capabilities.Did u see the current line up? It has two wicket keepers playing !!! also, theres no genuine wicket taker left in the team....If sehwag, dhoni,rp singh etc can get chance after chance, y not Pathan? I think he ll do well again as Zaheer and Sourav are aftr they have come back.We cant just forget quality players like Pathan
i agree that consistency is best. However, if there is no speed, then no matter how accurate you bowl, you will be wacked. I remember munaf once bowled a slightly short delivery onto middle stump and it got pounded for six. If it had been faster, the guy wouldn't have been pelted that badly. Secondly, why are Indian bowlers unaccoustemed to sheer pace, unlike the aussies, sa and pak who have talented fast bowlers...
