So what? That 'losing team' is considered better than the current 'winning team', because it had Sachin and Saurav, according to their boot-lickers writing here.

done very well???? In both matches they were not able to bowl bangladesh out. Their batting also was not upto the standard. If this is the performance against Bangladesh then against England there will be a whitewash.
Chappel brought Pathan at position three and now he is vanished. SImilar things likely to happen with Dhoni. He has been promoted to NO. 3 to take advantage of Power play, instead he batted like Dravid (36 runs of 54 balls)that too against team like bangladesh. Resultant, in the slog overs Dravid was on crease and he too played like Dravid, barring couple of boundries by zaheer, in last ten overs hardly 2 boundries. Any tean need, a powerful player to take advantage of hittings in slog overs. Currently, no one fit other than Dhoni. if he is asked to play at No. 3 and that too waering Dravid's shoe, India can never score more than 250 against an average attack. Let dhoni to continue his natural game - for the benifit to self and the team

Why r u trying to club sourav with sachin. Sachin is bearable to some extent though he is woefully out of touch. Sourav is hopeless. He shud have been kicked out long before..when was out of form for 2 years starting from 2001

Sachin has been rested because of his poor form since the last couple of years. Pl. dont thrust him again into the team. In the same I wish Sehwag is also sent out, and in his place Uthappa is given some chances.

Uthappa ? Having few hits doesnot make a good player.. What happened to him in recent matches ? He was no where.. He will go down like Sehwag.. Every one proclaimed that sehwag will reach the heights of sachin now he is Flat on Ground and everybody is walking on him..
In case of sachin, please revind, the team was calles SACHIN AND 10 tail enders (If you are not a 6 year old baby you will know this)..
His average in last 20 games is more than 40, average does not comes with a single match it comes with consistency. Yes he failed in WC. But he was a success against SL. He is the best player for india in foriegn soil. Refer the records.
It was on his wings India Sailed in the Last two world cups. Once he fumble, India bowed OUT..
Dont be like CPM.. See the reality, See the past..

I also agree with ROFL. It is high time for Sachin to either improve his batting and less concentrate in advt. "Ghar, Ghar may Sachin" is all stupid.
If is a world best batsman, how can he not read the ball which made him out vs Srilanka in the world cup.
He has to take ownership for his failures and start working on instead of giving press meetings.

Yah, to keep out of touch OR form Shewag in team is really senseless. Indian team selectors might not given any player so many chances ever in Indian cricket history.Dravid is coming always in defend of Shewag, so even he should be dropped along with that Shewag. So that both can be booted out from the team, anyway it would be a great opportunity for Dravid to hang his boots. And for it would be an excellent opportunity for Veru to go for one more round of honeymoon with his wife.

I think, this is a TRICK into fooling the opposition to think that they can WIN.
It is as if the World Cup debacle has not taken place.
The same guys. The same thinking. The same mistakes. The same lame excuses.
There are hundreds of messages about this in this blog and in hundreds of other cricket blogs. But still the same thing is happening again and again.
It is obvious that RPSingh and VRVSingh have powerful godfathers.
So has Sehwag. Why is he not in the domestic circuit? He still insists on grounding his bat only after his feet cross the line.
Dhoni's keeping is passable. His stamina is suspect. Dravid kept wickets and batted for long periods of time without his tongue hanging out after scoring 20runs.
Munaf Patel's bowling is improving. But his fielding is horrible. Kumble's fielding was better.
Our present team still thinks that Bangladesh is a schoolteam that has to be tolerated because they are our neighbours.
I pray to the Almighty to create a tsunami in the Indian cricket setup so that all their blind followers do not become disgusted and give up following the game.
