Sucking up to Tendlia
by JM on May 12, 2007 04:37 AM

These guys are just sucking up to Tendulkar. If Tendulkar says he has two more years left in him in 2009, these guys will agree.

How many years Glen McGrath had left in him? How many years did Lara have left in him?
Tendulkar has now become a Threedulkar; looks like he wants to continue till he becomes Zerodulkar.

We need more youngters
by Sathish P on May 12, 2007 02:23 AM

Youngsters have proved that they are valuable. So i think instead of giving more chances to Sachin and Ganguly, we should nurture more youngsters so they become more valuable like Sachin & Ganguly when they were in prime.

Another great concern is the fielding ability. So called seniors are not good for good fielding. Bring in the younger players then we can make huge progress in fielding and fielding can potentially bring back the glory to indian team.

I am telling you...if fielding is not improved then we got no future. We are the worst fielders in the world at this time.

Tendulkar on his way out - ODI's
by jyothi iyer on May 11, 2007 11:27 PM

Tendulkar is sticking on to ODI's because of commercial reasons, He has to pay back the MNC's if he is unable to play a role for them and we all thought he plays for the country?

Looks like Tendulkar will get a blank cheque to play for at least another two years during which time he should score another eight to twelve centuries and 2000 runs. This should be good news for India. Why is no one saying any such thing about Ganguly? He too has lot more cricket left in him. When will Sourav get some justice after he worked so hard to get back to the team? I thought Greg had been fired. The board is against Sourav because he is proving by his performance that they are just a bunch of idiots.

Dada is dadduuu. Thats why its better not to pick him. He is destructive influence in the Team and plays for himself and not for the Team.

Same with Sachin. Both should be kicked out from the Indian Team.

Greatness not only depend in winning matchesfor his country, but also in grooming up youngsters for future so that our COUNTRY will have a good team. If a player has this attitude he will retire at the right time before he becomes burden to his team and also before his time of retirement he will start thinking of indias future team. How many of them in our cricket team has this attitude. All wants to play, lara, mcgrath retired now, even though they are old enough to retire few years before, they were asked by their team to stay till world cup coz they were PERFORMING. Now sachin if you are in bad form its better to call it a day or just go to domestic cricket and prove that your claws have not weekened and are ready to hunt. I dont know why this dravid is still backing sehwag. Its a ridiculous decision from bcci to appoint dravid as captain after world cup. Its better we dont waste time in watching cricket(in our country its not sport its business)

TO become a Coach of India from Overseas or to impress the Trio of Shastri Vengsarkar and Gavaskar the only way is to praise Endulkar, his name is the holy chant for people like that, moreover all these foreign players like Bevan or Richards or whoever says Endulkar has so much to offer do not care for the good of Indian cricket, its very very obvious, they want him in the team to make sure India is on top of just Bangladesh in Test, remember in 2003 we were bragging that we were the Number 2 team, look where we are now,Aussies on the other hand been winning nonstop for almost 10 yrs starting in ODI Cricket and almost 2 decades in Test matches, their odd losses like a 2-1 loss in India or Ashes is talked for years, whereas on the other hand a win against Bangladesh for India seems to invoke comments that we are unstoppable from that Genius Shastri...what else do u expect?
