Hey guys Ganguly is the only one who arrived in broad daylight. He was cheered. I agree not a very nice idea after the team got eliminated. Now lets see Dravid n Kumble arrived at night, after the loss no one was interested. Shewag n Dhoni did not arrive in their home towns we would have love to see what happened if they did in their home town. Same goes for any cricketer. Look guys a cricketer is always more loved from where he hails. Its normal. I also agreed with Ganguly its more fanatical, but then he has to go through much more than any current cricketer. I am sure a guy from Bangalore defends Dravid with the same zeal as a guy from Kolkata does for Ganguly as a guy from Chandigarh does for Yuvraj. Its normal and nothing wrong in it. Its like the people from that part thinks they are part of something big and in India it does not get bigger than Cricket and then the world cup. For the present situation you can say its a sigh of relief from the Ganguly fans that their hero has scored a few runs albeit for a losing cause. They think its their pressure. So lets not make a big deal about this.

I am from B'lore and I don't defend Dravid. I am sure there a plenty who do. He failed to get the best out of the team. If there is anotehr player in the team that can take over the captainship, I am for it. But, the fact of the matter is, there is none! Unless you intend to take the Indian team back in times and appoint a Sachin or Saorav as captain. At some point in the future Yuvraj should be the captain. So, they better start grooming him now.
However, to say that Ganguly should get this "Warm Welcome" is a disgrace and is typical of people. He failed (may be intentionally) in the very match that mattered most to our country. And, Dravid didn't.
No doubt Ganguly proved that he is not done yet. But tell me any non-bengali who praises more than Ganguly deserves. Why is it that W.Bengal is the only state whoose people cannot go beyond the mentality of being regional. Even when the whole world was against Ganguly these blind followers were supporting him. In contrast of Maharashtrians who strongly critisize Tendulkar when he is wrong. Why all these babu moshais are so narrow in their approach. Grow Up guys , Be proud of the nation to which you belong and not just the state. Its the nation which comes into picture not the state. No state is complete by itself.

I am not a Bengali...I ADMIRE GANGULY for his leadership skills., his fighting ability to raise finger against the Pontings and Flintoffs...he is too good man...not like Dravid, who can only analyze once the failure is done....and Tendulkar, who has a mental issue with makin India win once he scores a 100 or 50..

You are cleaverly trying to put a stigma on Ganguly supporter branding them as Bengalis. I think this is a wrong notion. Gangulyy won the heart of millions who are not necessarily Bengalis.
Ganguly played overcautiously at the start unlike smith,hayden,jayasurya,gale thus created confidence in the opposition bowling and fear in the indian batting line up,Dravid forced selection of out of form sehwag,harbajan,agarkar.
and also dravid does not have stamina to take singles and hit big shots
Dada has already proved his ability as a player by a great come back n next he will be the CAPATAIN of the indian team to revive it... He is only the LAST hope .... DRAVID has already become a total FAILURE as a captain....so just just wait n see.........

gamguly is a very very cool guy. Indeed. He scored 66 in 129 balls and 7 in 23 balls. so coooooool. height of being cool
Every match , including bermuda, started off badly because of one opener getting out and the other( Ganguly) playing like a street cricketer facing body line . He seemed to be so scared to face balls. How can morale of subsequent batsmen be good??
The Gone-gully stays there for so many overs which cost India lots of runs (20-35) in poor running between the wickets.
His poor fielding OMG. Man u r not their in a park. U have a mission their.
In total losses of having Ganguly were 1. Poor Starting 2. Slow batting 3. Extremely poor running between the wickets 4. Poor fielding 5. Snr player setting bad example 6. Snatching an opportunity of a young batsmen.

Dada has delibarately batted slowly so that India couldn't reach super 8. I support him. If India would have reached super 8, poor chap Dravid would retain his captaincy and guys would have still engaged doing avd. So great done DADA. You are messiash for Indian Cricket. Mr Dewangan,It is clear that you have a strong disliking for Ganguly but talk cricket with some knowledge.If Gangulys slow start was wrong to adjust the pace of the turf then the Batsmen in the other side should have hammered the bowler aas men like Sachin,Dravid.What happened to them.My dear reflect to 2003 world cup.INDIA badly lost to Australia in the first game and I do remember Parliament rare shought asked the team to be brought back.AS Mr John Wright writes in his book,:Ganguly took all the players for a dinner: and lifted their moral and see where 2003 TEAM INDIA reached-FINAL.The most lacking additude in this team was :TEAM INDIA: Body was mind displayed as 11 stargers loitering in ground.Captain looked to be lost.Dravis is one of the best batsman India ever had but very poor Captain.AS Sir Richards says Indian team lack LEADERSHIP which was the prime factor in 2003:

excellent...ur message is the voice of millions of cricket fans...though iam yuvi's fan i liked the way ganguly stood up against the teams in WC when his shameless partners departed...i think if he had support from atleast 1 top batsman,he wud have banged the 3 spinners of Bangladesh...Ganguly has a record of smashing 3 sixes in a single over of Muralitharan [score:183],so these bangla spinners escaped...[God! why didn't you place chapel in bob woomer's place]

Why all are so harsh to Ganguly. Evenif his run rate is little low, atleast he scored some runs.Remember we havenot played all the 50 overs in most games.So we cannot complain other players did not get a chance. There was enough & enough chance for everybody. Also think about the days India went to West Indies before, they could not even fight, So we cannot blame one particular person all were part of a wrong team.

Ganguly and good fielding???? they are as if railway tracks always parallel. Ganguly acn never improve his fielding. he dives when ball has passed by.
