Point well taken Dravid. Number of one dayers have increased and number of days spending outside the country also. This definitely takes toll on ones performance. Whosoever criticizes the TRIO for their less contribution please let me know who are the replacements to them. Agreed they r not playing to their potential off late. But still - except yuvi - no stronger replacement is found till date. We should also empathize with them in this regard.
If every team is playing at home at that particular time - why not our team.

abe india mein talent ki kami nahi hai agar tum chance hi nahi doge youngsters ko to wo kaise perform karenge aur uske liye in trio ko nikalna padega .
Dravid actually mean to say that he is now a old man. he can not move across the world to loose matches. he can do it at home ground. BCCI should listen to this and invite all other test teams to India for our captain.

I think you mean to say players of Australia & England are born old so they get benefit of this fixed schedules as Dravid is demanding.
Poor Ausies & English cricketers they also fear playing in sub-continent because here McGrath gets Bashed, Warne doesn't turn the ball etc...
In Australia they have a tradition like Boxing Day Test match and New Year Test match etc. with a fixed calendar. There is also a short ceremony where the captain hands out the baggy green cap on mtach day to a debutant. Indians only wag their tails world over at any time for money with no cricketing tradition.

Being born and bought up at Chennai, i think we also had a tradition of hosting test matches in December January and Chennai used to host test matches during Pongal Holidays-Jan 13 to Jan 17 every year.
We lost this tradition due to commercialism and greed for more money.
Mr Dravid, first perform like australia. Wow, when it comes to other things you guys want all benefits that australia has, huh? Do aussie players make as much money as you guys? Go and first perform on the field and then talk.

I agree, does it make any difference where u play. You guys make money anyways, whether u win or loose. So worry about winning just keep playing (or I should say stick to the team)

Let the australians too perform the same way as they perform at home. And england. This is definitely a difficult situation to any touring team to get accustomed to the conditions. The team is just in the rebuilding process after the debacle at world cup.

As long as the deadly trio of SMG,Shastri and vengsarkar its fixed that Young Endulkar will ever play cricket and despite Indias pathetic losses the game will be popular in India and bookies feast on the game in the subcontinent and so many fixers have been let scott free from all countries and some still playing,so whats the need for it to be FIXED...lol...
