convert bcci into a central govt company. list the company in the stock market. and then privatize the company by selling it to the highest bidder. meanwhile allow other private leagues to come up. regulate all cricketing companies through an indian cricket commission (on par with trai as in telecom).

BCCI - BUNCH of COMEDIANS & CRUCKEDS in INDIA.
by on Jul 26, 2007 01:09 PM

I strongly feel Mr.Shah is trying to save himself & his partner's skin as ICL is coming out in big time and I would love to watch 20-20 being played by veterans right at the venue by paying what so ever the ticket fees may be !
BCCI is a purely propertior ship company and doesn't have guts to accept the fact that these "BCCI" cant manage these many defeats from INDIAN team and what kind of proud is he talking about ?
I am sure ICL 20-20 would be more thrilling and exciting than our indian 50-50 cricket team ;)
Cheers
GURU.

Govt. should withdraw tax exemption given to BCCI or extend the same to ICL.

national pride
by Periasamy Subramanian on Jul 26, 2007 01:04 PM

Niranjan Shah is saying that there is no national pride in ICL. I remember that once in supreme court , the bcci argued that the team is called bcci team not the Indian team. Mr Niranjan Sha , do you think that we are fools?

Idiot in fools paradise!
by JM on Jul 26, 2007 12:59 PM

:
This idiot says "When a person comes fully prepared for an interview, he is expected to be totally aware that he is there for an appointment if selected by the panel". i.e. this idiot thought whatever happened in the interview, Graham Ford was expected to bow down and take the job like it was a blessing from God?

A job interview as I know it is mutual. i.e the interviewee is assessing the competency of the interviewers and the interviewers are assessing the interviewee.

I have rejected job offers from companies before sometimes even for reasons that the interviewees/managers were not professional in their behavior.

This is the exact attitude why these 'administrators' from BCCI are plain idiots! And this rhetoric of "loyalty" which these guys mistake to be "kiss ass".

Indian bosses expect slavery- "yes sir, yes sir, you are great sir, you are god sir"; anyone with international exposure

And besides what exactly is wrong in starting a different league? If playing cricket is a good thing, playing more cricket is better.

And again, what is this idiot really saying? Is he saying a new league is bad for cricket? OR that the new league will fail because of lack of resources? If this kackass is so confident that ICL is going to fail, then what is his problem?

WHAT IS TRUTH? Tendulkar & ganguly were forced to quit off 20/20?
by cebu jonas on Jul 26, 2007 12:55 PM

____________
See what Sha said:
"Did the triumvirate of Sachin Tendulkar [Images], Rahul Dravid [Images] and Sourav Ganguly [Images] themselves opt out of the Twenty20 World Cup or did the BCCI tell them to?

It's completely their collective decision. And the selection committee honoured their wishes. I was very much present when the chairman of selectors, Dilip Vengsarkar, received a phone call from Rahul Dravid and responded to it as well. Dravid told Vengsarkar that he, Tendulkar and Ganguly had decided to opt out of the Twenty20 World Cup."

There were reports in Times of India that Dravid did not discuss with tendulkar & ganguly. And both were angry with him in England.

Who played to push who?
