Radcliffe's acts for living, and so does Sachin. The only difference is Radcliffe is a Hollywood star and Sachin an advertisement model.

sachin is a real hero,so the harry potter is his fan. and that actor who is playing this role his is just an actor and follows theit directors order. but here there is no director at playing time,no any script, no any prepaered locations.
so our sachin is a real hero and i wish to break the lara's test record.

Sachin irrespective of what anybody says is no GOD but is indeed the highest form of human. HE has scaled the heights of glories at very young age and has till now has not let that affect him as a person. He has no airs around him. And anybody would like to ape him. I feel that before we point a finger at him if we look at ourself( we have 4 fingers pointing at us) and we have not achieved even .01% of what he has! So i would kindly request all who want to mock Sachin.

You have not achieved even 0.1 % of Sachin, that means you are only 1% selfish unlike 100% selfish Sachin.

Sachin is the most selfish human being who will not retire but keep blocking the chances of Yuvraj and other young cricketers.

What has Yuvraj achieved in tests that you are feeling so for him? As far as retirement is concerned, there are others ahead of Sachin in the queue. Particularly some southpaws from your neck of the woods.

Yuvraj can't achieve because, Sachin is like a
1000 pound gorilla who won't retire and pave the way for Yuvraj.

Dada is BTW outperforming Sachin since his comeback, its Sachin who is now the most useless
batsman alongwith the spineless Dravid.

So DADA's 40 in the first innings was the most useful, unselfish knock wasn't it?
What abt the second innnings? Why didn't he take us to victory? Did he choke? How about sharing the blame equally mate.

Bengal Tiger, you are nuts not to understand. Yuvraj has been given quite a few chances in tests and has very few good performances. The fact is 1.) He cannot play spinners 2.) Cant play moving ball. Both of these due to no footwork and poor technique. If at all, Laxman should be dropped as he is totally inconsistent. As regards Saurav, he is not converting the 30s into big scores, same as Sachin. It is disgusting to see the comments about one of the greatest players of all times.
SAchin may not be the same as earlier, so let the selectors drop him but you have no right to call him names.

by shagufta khan on Jul 25, 2007 09:34 AM  | Hide replies

THIS IS SOUR BUT TRUTH-OUT OF 37 TEST CENTURIES SCORED BY SACHIN, ONLY 2 CENTURIES CAME IN THE FOURTH INNING OF THE MATCH WHERE YOUR SCORE IS MOST IMPORTANT TO WIN MATCHES. THE LAST TEST VS ENGLAND IS AN EXAMPLE.HE IS A GOOD BATSMAN BUT NOT A MATCH WINNER OR A MAN OF CRISIS. I LIKE SACHIN TOO MUCH BUT I THINK HE SHOULD GRACEFULLY QUIT CRICKET WITH RESPECT AND GOOD MEMORIES.

RE:SACHIN GOOD NOT GREAT
by Tejas Gurjar on Jul 25, 2007 01:11 PM
First innings scores are equally important in setting-up a big score and setting up the match.
It is a pity that people do not understand or appreciate the number of matches Sachin has setup for India to win. I agree that his 4th innings performances have been poor. That criticism is justified but people should not forget the number of times he has helped setup a victory.
His centuries v/s Aus at Chennai ('98, '01) are a case in point.
People will always criticise him for his failures to 'finish off' matches but they should do better to remember the number of matches he has set-up which is equally important.

Some points I would like to note here:
1) India never had a quality attack like Aus to bowl out sides twice especially abroad. So all our hopes would be pinned on batting to save us the matches and esp. on Sachin (at least till the mid 90s)
2) Many of Sachin's centuries have come in drawn matches. Again point #1 has something to do with that as well. We just didn't have the bowling to finish off the opposition.

Rubbish, with bowling attack of RP Singh, Zaheer we bowled out England for less than 300 runs in both innings. Don't talk your crap about bowling its the batting especially of useless Sachin which lets the team down always.

I suggest you read my previous reply carefully (assuming you are able to read and it is not too much for your feeble mind to understand)

I had said that the criticism against Sachin in 2nd innings is perfectly valid. But people should also recognize his efforts in setting up matches in first innings (and second innings when batting first).
Also I would like to quote the following example:
Remember, SCG test in 2003. India scored something like 700 runs in the first innings. Sachin scoring a double hundred. The match was nicely setup for our bowlers. But they failed to bowl out the opposition twice. Classic example to prove my point. I can give you more.

Again super rubbish what was Sachin's strike rate at SCG, he wasted 600 balls for his double hundred, in the end resulting in little time for the bowlers to get the required wickets.

Check out the comments of the all great cricketers who rate it as Sachin's worst knock. He struggled and was only playing shots in on side.

Mr Bengal Tiger, The 241 in Aus was made when SAchin just came out of the left leg injury. During that time he was not able to play on the off side as comfortably as he normally would. So he had to cut down on the off side strokes and played mostly on the on side.Despite this he was able to score a double hundred which you may not be able to comprehend. Ask Steve Waugh and other Australian players about this innings. So just stop posting some rubbish here.

Imagine how great Sachin is when a knock of 250 is his worst. The critics have a point about the knock being unaesthetic, but cricket is not a beauty contest.

Sachin may have struggled but the knock was important nonetheless. The bowlers had 3 full days to bowl them out twice but still failed.
Wonder how the captain was handling the bowling changes/fielding? Any guesses who the captain was in that series?

Kapil averages 18.40 in fourth innings in test matches.

The only fifty in fourth innings comes against Sri Lanka in 1985, 2nd Test at P.Saravanamuttu Stadium, Colombo
Result: Sri Lanka won by 149 runs
Sri Lanka leads the 3-Test series 1-0

Kapil made 6 in first innings and 78 in second innings.

look at what he is talking.

A single news about Sachin, on match or off it. people just need nothing to criticize the legend what is Sachin.

Criticizing is one way to show ur likeness for something, because u crave for that thing to do good to you.. anyways. Sachin's performance rules the mood of the nation so when he fails that dislike comes like this. When we don't care about something we just criticize once and then leave off... not bothered.

So Mr. Popli, nothing wrong with you.. u r very normal to human nature. Still why not put ur skills to write beautiful and on track.
