Dhoni has flopped in the recent past and thats what counts, the recent performance. because if it not so...then people like you would not have criticized Dada and Tendulkar whose previous performance and records speak for them. and why is it that you are critisizing Sachin and Dada just to uplift Dhoni. if you think dhoni is good then he has to be good irrespective of what the others are doing. dhoni can never be good because Dada and Sachin's recently could not perform that well.    Forward   |   Report abuse

Karthik is technically good and is in the team purely as a batsman. Don't compare him with dhoni the batsman. U r forgetting the Wasim jaffer is a full time opener and he failed in both the innings. He thumps the ball in the last minute..and his style of batting is not suitable to english conditions..better to open with gambhir and karthik.
