i just fail to understand why u all people stood for mr. deno. not only dean but all the australian cricketers time and again said so many utter words to all the asian players and its nothing new. i feel while penalising deno , ICC can set an example so that in the future no one can even dare to think like that.had such mistake been comitted by any asian u should have seen the result so far.. so wake up guys == dont be so sympathatic to these aussies which time and again insult our culture..this is the racism issue man .. he was so harsh in his words that no one can forgive him... must be penalised or should take a written apology from him......................

dean jones coming back. From Prakash N.
by prakash nanvani on Feb 08, 2007 05:09 PM

i do not see any reason for such a big fuss of dino coming back in to the commentary ring. the statement he had made was not at all intentional and it was done when not on air - but some how b'cos of his bad luck he got stuck and the poor guy has suffered a lot since then and has apologized publicly and also personally to amla. so why the fuss now ??? guys, lets burry the thing, close the matter and move on . life is good - enjoy !!!

I really stunned to see Dean Jones back as commentator he must not be forgive ever because he has defame the game of cricket by making such a shamefull statement on Hashim Amla. Even if he wants to back in his profession atleaset once he should say sorry to all cricket fans to whom he hearts badly and specially to Hashim Amla and he must say a word of sorry """Live""".

Cheers Mates
Johar

I dont agree that it was slip of tounge...it was a clear case of speaking one's mind. In this case it happend by accident (when he thought the mic was off). But it shows the 2 faced personality. It was good that the true thinking of a SO CALLED analyst was exposed.

Forgive him, as Islam Belives in Forgiveness.

Hi All,
By knowingly or unknowingly, Dean commented wrong just bcz, media is publishing wrong regarding Islam, so he is one who also have the wrong impression regarding Islam, due to wrong propoganda regarding Islam by media. So As per Islam one has to be forgiven. And let Dean go ahead for his work and need not to halt him.

Its a good idea to find a escape goat in media.
I am sure big analyst (even in cricket) are supposed to analyse the things by going deep in the subject rather than taking it at face value.
Same applies to Dean Jones. In my opinion it just shows 2 faced personality of Dean Jones that was exposed by the active mic.

We all know that most of the westerners in general and Australians in particular are racist in nature. But how long can we force them to be good to us? :-):-) Let them do their job.

I agree with you. Even Hashim Amla forgave him the next day itself and also spoke to Dean regarding this. Let Dean do his job. I'm sure he is not going to repeat this again.
