The only team which can possibly beat Australia at home is the Australia A cricket team. So we should not expect too much from our team. The last time Aus lost a test at home was in Adelaide in 2003, against India. But then the Aussie attack was much weaker than what they have today.
If we have batsmen like Dravid, laxman, Tendulkar out there just to block ball then we will not do good. We need faster scores. Blocking only gives AUZ bowlers the confidence. The current Indian cricket team selection has been certainly very biased undoubtedly. This is not a software company where donkey can be hired among donkeys by sorcery and kept for an year or more... We can keep on blaming Dhoni and Yuvi as I have seen for few days who prefer to hit or get out because score matters in the end, not blocking.

yes you r right, you watched the match very closely. score of 62 off 77 balls in a test match with a strike rate of over 80 should be called blocking. may be if he scores 110 off 100 balls next time, you would not call that BLOCKING..

what u mean by prefer to hit or get out. In the one day series against Pakistan, dravid was sent in the end and he got out going for unnecessary shots. Then howcome our donkey selectors dropped him? DO u have any answer Mr. DS?

This is true, as last time during his birthday, he and his friends had beaten up an innocent guy. Just because he is Yuvraj Singh, he flew off without any major problems.

I agree. Just because he is flamboyant he is given undue importance. He has powerful Punjab lobby behind him all the time.
Because of him the Team is dropping even gems like Laxman. Its only after laxman came up with match winning knocks agains pak people are quite.

I am surprise you guys don't have have an attitude after watching the batting display of the Indian team. Chokers like Dravid and Jaffer killed the game in both innings. Unless you are blinded by the anti-Punjab and anti-Bengal bias. What Punjab lobby are you talking about? Huh? How many Punjab players are playing in the Indian team? It is the Idly-Sambhar politics that is ruining the Indian Cricket at the moment. These are the same players who won the 20/20 tournament and matched up to the same Australians in India. But the Idlys managed to sneak in Kumble as captain and retained choker like Dravid in the team. No wonder younger players are feeling agitated over the strategy of this Indian team. Get rid of the the conspirators and dummys propped up by the lobby and bring back the winning combination- Dhoni ans captain and Yuvraj as Vice Captain!

I agree with you on this. This Test team and One Day teams are filled with grandpas like Tendulkar, Kumble, Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Schewag etc...Harbajan any ways useless for India and useful only for the opponent.
Only if we go with T20 team again, we can think of winning against Australia. Otherwise, call for injured Pakistani team, lay a dead pitch and ask Yuvraj & Ganguly's to score double tons..
if this team is picked, am sure we will give them a run for their money..aus always had 4 bowlers to pick 20 wickets every time they play..where as we need that xtra 5th regular bowler to pick 20 wicks....
sehwag yuvi lakshman sachin dada dhoni ishant RP zaheer kumble harbhajan dravid can actually wait if any one of teh seniors dont perform...kumble being his state mate, can take this bold decision on dravid, who is struggling...remember, aus can take bold decisions like this, y not we for the sake of team..

A Good point which was followed by Ganguly. Ganguly infact insisted Dravid to focus also on Wicket Keeping. Since Dravid developed his personality and started thinking that Wicket Keeping will lower his image!!! Dhoni can not play test cricket any ways as a batsman. He has long way to go and so is Yuvraj - In my opinion, both of them should be dropped and try with Bhadrinath or Raina or Karthik
Raina is better batsman than Yuvraj. There is no doubting his class. Just back him. If yuvraj has so much high airs about him. Bring a guy who really wants to play for the country not some millionarie who doesnot want to just make more and give a damn about the country Yes while at it bring back KAIF inplace of dravid since KAIF is 27 and Dravid is 35.

u go jump in a well if u don't know things... at this moment yuvraj is one of the best and feared batsmen in the world.he has been performing consistently for India for the past few seasons....and yeah i agree that Raina is a good batsman...but as of now he is not better than yuvraj....and yeah kaif will surely come bak bcoz he has been performing decently with the bat in Ranji...

Kaif is good for nothing. He can only play like Dravid(when Dravoid is in worst form)at best and he should be kept away from all forms of cricket. Already he is doing a good job by not playing.
