Crappy Show from Indians
by Mitul Shah on Dec 17, 2007 06:59 PM  | Hide replies

As all the statisitics reveal that top run scorers and wicket takers are from other countries. The big claims of Mr. kapil Dev that he has the cream of the indian cricket in ICL - If this is the cream of Indian cricket - who cannot score or out perfrom the so called retired foreign players than really Indian Cricket is in a poor state.

What the so called retired big players of Indian cricket have done during the training sessions of the ICL matches - trained the players or just made money for speaking all bullshit against the BCCI

Open your eyes and check the statistical data again you will find many young indians in the list. Atleast these guys are exposed to the international standard and atmosphere...look at the commitment & attitude they have shown in every single match. Fielding was brilliant throughout the tournament. I have never seen such a brilliant fielding work in any of our domestic tournaments so far.

Hi Guys, I am not against ICL, I appreciate what they have done, and I also agree that the player are raw and need experience, I have never questioned their ability, I have only questioned about the big claims of Mr. Kapil Dev and his colleagues saying that they have captured the cream of domestic cricket, no hard feelings - I wish this players the best of luck, and wish ICL administration stays transperant and clean of politics

Are Gujju bhai whatever you say the ICL tournament was a sucess . It is a slap on the face of BCCI. The BCCI should learn from ICL how the arrangments are to be made .

You should have considered the experience of all those top run getters and top wicket takers. Even Tendulkar was not a susperstar without experience. In any case, BCCI is loser and couldn't stop ICL to happen inspite of using all their avaiable armoury.

whom to support ?
by victory on Dec 17, 2007 06:59 PM  | Hide replies

You see though ICL (cricket matches)may be good to watch but still it lacks something like support. I mean to say you are not sure or unable to makeup mind to whom should you support.
Unlike in our regular cricket its nationalism which makes you support our team. So people sometimes put their work aside & watch cricket.
But here for ICL matches it hardly happened.

Nationalism meant only when India is palying otherwise people watch the matches between other countries as well, even county matches. How many soccer fans watch the bootball mateches knowing it well that India is not there-? It is just interest in the game whether it is soccer or cricket.
