DEAR MR SIVANA, CHENNAI PLAYERS ARE VERRY VERY HAPPY WITH THIS VICTORY. BCCI NOT GIVING PROPER CHANCES TO TAMILNADU AND CHANNAI PLAYERS. WHAT ABOUT ICL WHETHER THEY WILL GIVE CHANCES TO SAME NONPERFORMING PLAYERS. IT WILL END UP WITH TOURNAMENT OF THE LOSERS. YOU JUST SEE THAT ICL WILL BE PLAYED ONLY IN INDIAN SANDS AND NOT EVEN RECOGNISED STADIUMS, WERE ATLEAST THE PLAYER WILL BE KNOWING ABOUT THE PITCH. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF NOW ANY PLAYER DOESN'T WANTS TO PLAY FOR ICL AND WANTS TO PLAY FOR IPL. THEY WILL TAKE YOU THE COURT. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO MR MOHAMMED YOUSUF OF PAKISTAN. YOU WILL NOT GET THE OPPURTUNITY TO PLAY IN AUSTRALIA, WESTINDIES NEWZEALAND ENGLAND AND SOUTHAFRICA. STILL YOU WILL BE GETTING THE OPPURTUNITY TO RUB SHOULDERS WITH INTERNATIONAL GAINTS WHO DONT HOW TO PLAY INDIAN SANDS. HI HI NI NI
Cricket being played in ICL is of very poor quality. Most of the matches are one sided and majority of times teams are not even able to last full 20 overs.
Guys if you notice, the superstars team, there are some pretty good domestic players who have played for TN and have good amount of cricket left in them, especially the likes of Satish - who if you remember played in the 2005 challenger series for Chemplast and had been in the state team for sometime.Vasanth saravanan played for TN and Assam a batting allrounder, Thiru Kumaran, Badani have represented the country. These players definitely formed the backbone of TN State Team along with Ramesh,Badrinath, Sriram, Sharath etc. Its not surprising they played well. Also the International players looked to be in good shape. Chris Read, Law, Harvey, Arnold etc. Its good to see Shabbir in ICL poor guy had a tough time with his action not gettin cleared
Jhunjhunwala was seen much as Indian team potential.Now i dont think he would make it unless ICL is recognized by BCCI.
