ICL is playing cricket and cricket only. Its a game to be enjoyed not to take personally. people split themselves into states and wage war of words. its no good as indian. look as indians play and enjoy as an indian. They get moneyto play.we lose money to watch. stop loosing money only, not our energy which can be used for productivity towards ur family.ENJOY ALL THE GAMES AS SPORT AND FORGET ONCE ITS FINISHED LIKE THE PLAYERS DO AND CARRY ON WITH THE NEXT WORK.

Why u not thinking , this is ICL's first tournament and how well organised .Within this short period they arranged lots of international players so that young indian can get benifit.Think positive.

Hi Sheru, Your name is similar to Kolkata Tigers. There are lot of young players who are getting a lot of exposure playing alongside international level players though some of them has retired or have been ignored. What would've happened if ignored Sourav would've joined ICL. But honestly the intensity is there. Healthy rivalry as well. As for us losing money to watch, it is far far better than sending studip SMS for voting and opinion polls. Cheers
Why did Rediff suddenly find interest in ICL;till now it was not reporting nothing about ICL,just to spread Hatred among Indians or what..Sports is definitely not the objective..gotta start analyzing whos behind this...

There are thousands of cricketers in India, yet only 11 can play for Team India...only a few lucky ones get a chance to play for the country...this does not make the rest useless!!! If you have watched ICL matches you will have realise that our very own cricketers have caught stupendous catches and fielded spectacular run outs...much better than team India's fielding efforts!!...all this comes from training with players like Klusener and chris harris! One more point I would like to make is that Klusener is earning much more in ICL than he would have earned playing for SA. The man of the series in the recently concluded Indo-Pak tests, Saurav Ganguly got 2.5 lakhs as prize money...whereas man of the match in an ICL 20-20 match gets 3.75 lakh!!!

yes Sameer u r right If u open new shop or launch new brand and u have so tough competetion u have to bear some extra expance. And who are getting the ammountare ignore one from their country representation and getting more means the Subhash chandra have the money for attracting and investing and once it started then u will see what is happening at that time u can't blame him b'cz he is profit maker not BCCI who is responsible for all except some filthy officers

what is wrong in profit making everybody does it i am sure if u given a chance you will do the same thing now u should think twice that he created 7 team and how much player is he supporting financially . atleast they are started to earn. i think we should support ICL and many more league to come. so cheer up

I think it's a great effort to make cricket more popular at the non-international level. Every other sport across the world is played the same way where there are various teams owned by franchises. This way, a lot of players who don't get to play for the national team, will get a chance to play some good cricket. India being the strongest (population and popularity wise) audience, players from other countries are also joining in. We should be happy about the fact that players like Klusener are playing for the ICL. Why are looking at this so negatively?
