What freedom. When you are a chairman of selectors you cannot write in conflict of interest. You can't denfend your decisions thru press while players are Gagged. You can't comment of players in columns because the Chairman of selctors selected them. This is very simple and BCCI is spot on here.Vengsarkar knew this before taking the post up. He should have stayed away if he thought his writing in papers is more imp. than becoming chairman of selectors. He wants to cut the cake, eat the cake, keep the whole cake and the bakery. Sorry. Very unfair.
These Bas.... like Niranjan Shah is sucking the Board , he was the Bas... who remained in the Board even after Kiran Whoray and Durgandhpur were sidelined Mr Niranjan Shah must be kicked out first. That bas like fatty shukla does not have any cricketing experience they mey be kicked out.

Everything is a long lost episode now!How can Vengsarkar be an employee of Pawar &brother at the same time?So Pawar asked him to choose between the two!
If Vengsarkar has been writing columns before becoming a Selector, he should be allowed to continue, since it's a Honorary post they hold. A Chairman should be given FREE hand to decide on the selection matters. If anybody feels that his decision would be better than the Chairman of Selectors, then that person should be made Chairman. How much of Cricket has the BCCI officials ever Played ??? Have they even Played Gully Cricket.

I hate vengsarkar. He is in news for all the wrong reasons. One heck of a egoistic selector. He needs a freaking lot of importance. What was wrong with Pawar's question? Why does Vengy want to see all Intl. matches while other selectors are asked to watch Ranji matches. Vengy is the real dirt. And talking about Whims & Fancies. Who is he talking to. He is one hell of a autocratic person and disgrace to Indian cricket.

Why is this joker Suraj, hopping up and down all over site. As a chairman of selector he has every right to watch matches, as his decision is most important. Please if u have guts tell ur boss that for a very high level and important meeting u would like to go in place of him and see what happens. There is something called seniority and thats the way world works. And also what politics against dravid are u talking about, he has just been dropped for a few ODIs and will be taken back as soon as he is back in form or anybody performs badly. Here the coach or the chairman of selectors hasnt made any statements to the press like XYZ will never be considered again to play for India even if he performs in domestic cricket like in the case of Ganguly. So just chill.

You sound like you have some of those traits yourself.
