This is the best line up India has got from long time. I havnt seen such fire in their eyes and believe in them selves. We have lots of talents in the team like jaffer and gambhir and fighters like kartik, dhoni, R.P and zaheer. These are very well supported senior players like rahul, sourav and anil. Offcourse not to mention about sachin whose cricket is popular in the whole world. I think some of the back up players should be used on regular intervals. players like laxman and sreesanth should give way for yuvraj and pathan. Nevertheless great team to watch and should keep it up to the mark.

To go forward we need a good shadow team.It can have Partiv Patel and Pujara as openers.Tewary at three.Rohit Sharma at 4.Raina at 5.Badrinath at 6.Dhoni at 7.Piyush Chawla at8,Irfan at 9,Munaf at 10 and Mahesh or Pankaj Singh or Ishant Sharma at 11.The shadow team can keep playing. If someone in the main team does not click consistently give a chance to the shadow team memberin that slot.

laxman is a rare class player. sachin needs to give way for young players. He is ancient, time to play in ICL.

If Laxman is a class player. then Sachin is the best of all.Tendulkar has 60 average in 2007 alone. Where as Laxman has 28.83 average including yesterday 50 score. Laxman cant bowl. Atleast sachin can bowl and take wickets as well. Also sachin is much better fielder compared to Laxman. On what basis do you guys really cant laxman is a class player.

guys the thing is that v hav jus 2 days to go and india cannot waste more time in setting up target and then bowling them out. lets get them in a day and if v have half a day on the fifth day to get 200 runs in 50 odd overs then v can still do it. So thats should be strategy for the team. GO INDIA GO

Hello Deepak, India can bat if they want even after giving follow on to England. This is also a rule.

batting on the last day would be difficult on this pitch.....so India should bat 1 or 1.5 sessions, score as many run as possible.....then let England bat at post tea session on 4th day and entire 5th day.....
This is perhaps one of the most exciting India-England Tests to watch ever, especially if England buckles-up and give the Indians a run for their money, and more espcially, to save a follow-on. In sports anything can happen, so don't rule out the Brits as yet. And yes, it's a great showing by Kumble.

Please keep your great prediction about others life to yourself. Do we say when you have to retire from your job. Everyone knows when to retire, when to eat, when to sleep. PLease dont keep advising others. Look at yourself alone.

I agree with you, India should drop him and try youngsters, if he is not ready to retire.
