Why? Is it Irfan's ancestoral property? Let players like Irfan / Sehwag / Harbhajan not think that way.Perform or be shown the door.
Indians never improve because we keep going back to the same set of players who have already failed so often.

'I was sure I would come back' - Zaheer Khan

Our Indian pace spearhead has given a torrid time to the English guys on their home pitches. Zaheer is doing well for Team India.

keep yourself fit first. you are yourself only and not wasim akram. keep swinging ball throughout the inning with control speed. donot run after the speed.i had seen lily the australian spaceman who came out of many injuries and bowled like fierry bawler.

Zaheer, I want you to take on Gilli(christ) at some point and show him your skills. Do it to the Aussies and we'll all be happy.

Zaheer Talks
by Viswanathan on Aug 10, 2007 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

Zaheer Khan's interview made an interesting reading. He has taken his dropping from the Indian team as a challenge and has bounced back with vigour. He should take over from Kumble as match winner till Chawla develops in to a world class bowler. Imagine Zaheer, Irfan, R.P Singh and Chawla in Indian attack.

100% true. He was overlooked even after fantastic performances in County matches probably because of perceived attitude issues as pushed by Chappel. But the way he came back is exemplary and now he is certain choice in the next few series as he maintained the status of front runner. In fact first time, it is some one other than Kumble who started winning the matches on regular basis.

I would like to include two more medium pacers into this list - Munaf Patel and RP Singh - both are highly talented and are in the grooming phase. I feel these five should play on a ratation basis suiting the match requirements. All pacemen bowling left arm, it will not give variety in the attack.. It should be mixed right armers.. Even I prefer including VRV Singh... all are equally talented, and with either Zaheer or Irfan taking the lead and two supporting bowlers, it is going to be excellent attack for the future..

excellent khan
by vinoth kumar on Aug 10, 2007 03:57 PM

Zaheer u did india proud by producing a match wining performance.it is time for him to lead this inexperienced bowling attack.i like the way he showed his aggression with the ball.it is good to see a indian bowler troubling the english batsmen.it is really good sign for the indian team which will go to aus end of this year.i hope indians will perform much better than the last time when they toured aus.only aspect which is worrying the indians right now is the lack spin bowler to take wickets on any wicket expect anil.i also hope chawala will fill anil shoes once the latter retires form the cricket.

We are in wonderland

Single match winning performance is not going to be enough. Our stupid media play according to the time. If he fails tomorrow everything will be against him. Same applies to our fans also.

We have to accept that we do not have quality bowler even now..

We have greats like sachin, ganguly, kumble, dravid etc... But as team we are very weak. Aussis do not have these greats but they are winning almost every match why???

yes, you are right but then we dont understand team work and are always looking for a saviour who will do it single handedly -which will rarely happen. till we stop looking for heroes this maddness will continue...
