It's time English players decide to curb the habit of eating sweets on the field. It's BAD for the teeth and it also disorients the opposition. ICC should allow breaks for eating candies, sweets and stuff for cricket players.

That is for energy release, carbohydrate rich food helps in short burst of energy!! A bit like Gatorade which helps in restoring salts and minerals!! Cheers!!
Zaheer has bowled well in the last match. No doubt about it. But adding too much hype into this is not going to do any good. Zaheer had been inconsistent in the past and needs to prove his consistency in at least one season. Also the other bowlers also contributed to this success by maintaining the pressure on the batsmen. Cricket is a team game and winning matches is the team and not the individuals.

Hi Chandu, I dont think it is true. Zaheer has the maximum match winning performances after Kumble in the current team. The way he and Ganguly came back and settled as a regular players in the team after every one wrote them off is amazing.

For Team INDIA its always been a one man show! ZAHEER knows english conditions perfectly and knows how to ball english batsman. There is no doubt ZAHEER is a legend and we must accept it!

We also have many other legends like Sachin, Dravid and a legend in the making..Dhoni..but have they really done sooo much to deserve it. We indians are into hero worshipping and idolizing players more than what they really are..

Dhoni should first play Tennis Ball cricket properly and then come into international cricket. He is updated version of Shahid Afridi!

Hi Sachcha Hindisthani, Dod you verify what is the average of Dhoni and that of Afridi in both versions of the game before coming to this conclusion? Dhoni is very responsible player and already played some classic match winning scores. We cant have too short memory to conclude on players. Dhoni has better record than some of our full time batsmen. He has a great career in the long run.

It is good to see Sachin play well in the 2nd Test as well as in this test so far. This foolows his good showing in Bangladesh and the against South Africa! I hope everyone is convinced is still playing well and deserves a place in the Test and One-day team. Stop making a fuss each time Sachin is struggling! He cannot succeed each time he goes out to bat!
Read the last reply. He has mentioned about Rahul, Laxman and Kumble. These 3 were Chappel's pet. He has not mentioned his state boss sachin or mentor Ganguly. So the heartburn is still there.

Yes. Zaheer is definitely scared about mentioning Ganguly for obvious reasons. But the fact is that it was Ganguly who stood by him many times and made him a perfect bowler. But we cant blame Zaheer, instead I blame the environment which scares people talk about certain facts for fear of security. Having said that, I dont think Laxman was Chappel's pet and got the stick to his career during chapel's tenure.
As a youngster I have watched it in the dressing room. Everyone looks to follow their example; like what time they sleep, how they prepare for the game and especially the big performances. Yo
