It is very nice decision taken at right time , it was neccessary to boost all cricket lovers and to give more chances new players . It'll give more professional players like australia & RSA . Since there are some international players also so comptetion should be tough . Really Very Good for Indian Cricket . Thanks Mr Chandra !!!!!!!!!!

Well Done

We should appreciate the efforts of Mr. Subhash Chandra. This is the only way we can bring nurture fresh talents. He has taken the right step.

BCCI denied him rights to broadcast domestic matches even when he won the bid. He was ready to pump in huge amount of money in order to develop domestic cricket on par with County cricket.

No by starting a parallel league, it goes to show how powerful the man is and is ready to face the BCCI.

I used to play cricket for my university and its about time people get a platform to play cricket based on talent than the whims of a few selectors. I have seen how politics works..just like all of you have in cricket.

Great Idea
by Truth Seeker on Apr 03, 2007 07:44 PM

It's high time we needed a professional league. This would give good opportunity for players who played good but don't have enough clout to get into the national team, which is infested with politics and quota system. This will also make them compete to make money.

Lessons which BCCI should learn from corporates!
by Sreeram Ramaswamy on Apr 03, 2007 07:43 PM  | Hide replies

Going a step further, I would suggest BCCI can probably tie-up with this group for better co-ordination and sharing resources. This will ultimately facilitate creation of much-needed talent pool and we can rid ourselves of the so-called stars. We are need players, not models or supermodels.

Zee has BCCI full freedom to hire talent from their leagues (obviously they will charge money for that).

Mr Chnadra is juicing out the current situation on cricket in India.
In any term it's going to be good lesson to BCCI.

It was required "Loha hi Loha ko Kat Sakta Hai"
BCCI has becom of Hub of match fixture. players & there agents were playing like the Cricket-Mafias. Politicians & Busnessman were running the show from the back stages.

Lets' enjoi the fight now.

Let's hope more companies enter the fray. It would
be fun watching BCCI go bankrupt.

Well Said, & after that BCCI & ther current & former officials, Captains & ex-captains & their agents must be raided by Income Tax.
