I thing Azhar Has Been Banned That Itself was the Wrong Decision By BCCI Other Plyers eg:Mark Wagh,Warne, gibbs all Commeted Their Charges Then Also they allowe To Play For Their Respective Country. Why Note Indian Plyers AZHAR,Jadeja.IN This BCCI Lost The Most Valuabel Service Of This Great Plyers & The Cricket Fan Of India Lost The Greta Game From This Plyers.
1. Considering the action taken (or is it not taken) by other cricket boards on the players who admitted to the crime punishment metted out to Azhar by BCCI apeears to be harsh. If Azhar has appealed to the court for justice BCCI could have waited for the court judgement and forbidden him to play international cricket till the case is decided in the court.
2. I fully agree with the views of Prof. Ratnakar Shetty. ICC should not be allowed consider that they are the supreme rulers of cricket. If Asian Cricket pulls out of ICC it will reuce to ashes.
Sharad Pawar is a well known politician. He is using the platform of BCCI to appease the known Minority - This is pure politics being played by Sharad Pawar through BCCI and it is nothing short of Hidden agenda of SP. The day will not be far off when You will see Azharuddin being nominted to Rajya Sabha as a NCP Candidate. After being TAINTED he deserves a place in Parliament.
I welcome the board stand on this issue. I think, comparing Azhar's crime with other is sham since it has been not proved yet and few of the others cricketers have even confessed the crime and still being allowed to server the country.
It really makes no sense for BCCI to revoke the ban on former India great Azhar now, after he has served his best time On life ban. When other boards have exonirated their players like warne, giibs with minimal fine...y did BCCI took it so seriously?they too should have done the same thing. Now after five year he has sevrved the ban,the board is looking for damage control......he was once stopped from commenting on a international match being played in india for a private news channel.
can the ban being lift now give back his plaing days?
will he play for india again at this age?clearly the BCCI has killed a bright career.......AZHAR BHAI ITS ALL OVER........
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss................Azhar is one among the rarest cricketers in the World...Just ignore ICC and Malcom and Let Azhar join other way of the main stream of cricket, if not as one amongst 11 of the Indian Blues ...
well done mr. shetty.. it is high time our board stood for our own players. players like shane warne and gibbs have been found guilty yet to continur to enjoy their star status. perhaps BCCI was a bit too harsh at that time. but again our board has set an example for younger generation of cricketers. And most importantly BCCI is holding a function in India. ICC has no business to comment on who should be invited and who should not be. we as a cricketing nation attract the funds that drive world cricket today and ICC has to go by what BCCI orders.
I am very happy to hear this good news, and especial thanks to Shetty for standing to get remove unproved pre-judice mistake made by BCCI to patch Life Ban Cricket on only Azhar, perhaps he should be called as a successful captain for India in the History.
