We needed to do basics correct right at inception. Now the things are gone wrong to such an extent that we need to get to the base, that is if we are still not there. The situation that we are in is that we need to think over it. Its left every thing for the BCCI and selectors to do, as players are not doing any thing. Mr. selectors even you guys miss the bus by distance. You need to give chances to players who are in good form, forget past records. The selection is currently either directed by promotors and sponcerers and not on players current form. Its time to axe old wood, and please give a thought to our coach. This is right time or else it would be too late to think even after a month. If you persist with current coach till the world cup, you will end up sacking him during the world cup, even before it gets over.
Difficult to say,but getting the basics right has always been a problem in Indian Sport.Maybewe need these foreign coaches to raise these issues otherwise we will just float in the middle of the table
I have always been told from my childhood and expererienced the same that " strong things build on strong roots" with this kind of experimentation where exactly are we building our roots
I think, we should bring in ganguly for the world cup team. His experience, talent and killer instinct will certainly help the team to win the world cup. Mr. Greg should keep aside his ego and hatred for a player like Ganguly. I feel he will be certainly better than shewag/Kaif/Raina who are just capable of scoring 25-35 runs in a match. To my opnion Ganguly deserves a place in the team. I am not a ganguly supporter, but still I feel he should be in the team for World cup
it will be good if we play without disturbing the combination.Greg should not put Irfan at no.3 spot and instead ask Dravid to come at this position.Bowling combination should have Zaheer Khan and Anil Kumble along with Harbajan.Players should adapt to the condition and here I think Greg can be of great help to players who are facing the seeming wicket in SA for the first time.If players like Sachin and Sehbag can play with little bit of caution without sacrificing their normal play and if Rahul is successful in bridging the middle order, I am sure we can see a different indian result in South Africa.Otherwise, if they play the mindless game they displayed during the ICC Champion's trophy,the result will be obvious!
A)I feel what Mr. Greg doing as a coach is correct but each player of the team should analyse&concentrate on their Techinical basics/Mental basics and correct themselves and improve thier contribution for their outcome in each innings of their play&make INDIA on top and on winning ways.As each player is not affraid of loosing place/money even if they don't contribute or play well because they get huge money thru advertisement, each player is not bothered or not serious eventhough they don't play well. B)We need to pool a junior or 2nd team pooling youngsters like 1) Some good/young/good height/physically fit Pace bowlers 2) All Rounders with pace bowling&spin bowling 3) Technically sound and also dashing Openers 4) Good middle order batsman 3)spin(Off & leg)/Google bowlers and train them in all aspects throughly with an Indian Coach (Bowler and Batsman).If any player does not perform well in Sr.Team,we have to replace them from the 2nd team/junior team.When competition is there,every one will give their 100% effort to contribute. C)We should put some policy in giving individual player in advertisement.When money flow by other means of efforts is restricted,will contribute
to get success india lakshman and kumble is compulsory for the team.they should play in the south africa series and in world cup and it also practice to them to play in world cup and lakshman the stylish batsman will be the good strenght for india in coming world cup

In this day and age planning is crucial.I personally dont believe that 11 best players from India will win world cup without proper planning.what Chappell is doing is find best possible combination of players and alternatives to do that.experiments that we all seen were praised when they worked eg:Dhoni hit 140 add against Srilanka.from these we know Dhoni can be very effective to increase run rate.
Irfan is being groomed as all rounder.it doesn`t happen overnight.he has to have some matches under his belt before the world cup.
we cant blame Chappel for lack of form of individual players.
We can only hope that everybody is physically and mentally ready to do best and win the much needed world cup.
Becoz. u r experimentation, the players are feeling insecured and also they don't know what to do? so, shut up all u r cricketing theory and show the results, otherwise there is no difference between u and ganguly, even ganguly is far better in the area of grouping the people together where as u r creating un-necessary imbalance in the team that shows the performance of the team right now.
