Australians behave as per their ancestors
by Prasad on Nov 08, 2006 03:17 PM

Not surprising at all to see the Aussies behave like that. After all back in 17th and 18th century all the European countries used to send all the criminals of all kind to this isolated continent as a punishment.

So how come we expect good manners from the inheritants of murderer, thieves, uncivilized and what ever the worst adjectives possible for a Human being.

So its natural for the to be like in human..If you people remember Arjuna Ranatunga has once dared Shane warne about his past....and they behave according to their past

Pawar Incident

The behaviour of Mr.Ponting and Mr. Martyn is shocking.Winning is not that important but behaviur is all important as people tend to forget the victory soon but the winning team's behaviour will be remembered for a long long period of time. Australian team captained by Ponting should hang their heads in shame before the civilized world.

Australians and Pawar both guilty
by Deepak Deshpande on Nov 08, 2006 05:21 AM

The behaviour of Australians towards Sharad Pawar WAS HIGHLY DEPLORABLE.The rudeness shown by them was disgusting.
But equally wrong was Sharad Pawar. He showed that like other Indians he too suffers from the disease of slavish mentality vis a vis foreigners.
Protocol and practise meant that The Dignitary should have given the trophy to the winning captain by calling Ricky Ponting to the Podium. Ponting should have taken the trophy to the team.
Instead of doing this, servile Pawar went to the Australian team to give trophy and was rebuked. If you behave like a servant you will be treated like a servant.
We Indians do not know how to conduct ourselves with poise, selfrespect and dignity. We always lick the boots of foreigners including Pakistan who in turn dutifully kick us.

What else can you expect from the country whose culture can be best described as yougurt culture. The behavior reflects an attitude that goes beyond cricket. Australians however clean from outside still harbour contempt towards non-whites. Just look at the attacks on Indians in Australia.

Re: Mr. Pawar(BCCI)President abt Australia

I was watching the recent STAR NEWS today-7/11/6,statment from Mr.Sharad Pawar, our great BCCI President, and very respectable Politician & Our Minister. I personally saluate him, as a great man with big heart.
Being even not good treatment by World Champ Australian team(from even Capt.Ricky Pointing and Martin) I personally think, and request International Cricket Association to give a ban such players for certain time.... Because, it is not at all respectable treatment to our great BCCI president and our Minister.
