Cricketeers v/s Adeverts
by subhash phadkar on Nov 06, 2006 07:12 PM

Sachin lost the point that the airtel contract didnot match his expectation in other words he had lost his appeal to get his expected deal.Same with shehwag and those who failed miserably in the international cricket competitions. There is no guarantee that any of the indian cricketeers would do well. The BCCI also is thinking of revising their terms of contract with the players with a clause no pay no performance. This is called a corporate governance.

Very funny.

Victory, my ass. Indian team fit to do only PEPSI commercials and lose (that too in a very stupid fashion). Gone are those winning days, even the minnows can kick us out of the initial rounds.

It seems Mr Tendulkar has also not learnt from the experioences he has. When he with his team-mates was not able to achieve in the home grounds which suits them very well and home conditions now he is giving promises to achieve good results in the pitches where most of our batsmen cant play comfortably. I think he should not make big talk before going to SA but he should prove that he is still mentally and physically very strong and can do wonders for India ranking in the top.

Here is a man(Tendulkar)who has made millions without contributing to the overall performance of his team and like his colleagues are more concerned about stardom and endorsements. We know to yepp only in the name of sehwag, dravid or tendulkar. Our outfit(not team)should take a leaf out of australia's team work and persistence to win matches and not rely on so called star performers.

Dear Mr. Little Master Bluster,
Thanks for moral boosting comment. What about your own form? Are u still suffering from tenis elbow? Have you a chat with Dravid so that the batting order can be fixed? Have you talked to Guru Greg about his experimentation (India ia a laboratory!!)?Who will bowl out the South Africans twice? Who will make hige scores against Nitini/Pollock? They are not bowlers on Indian flat pitches? Better not to make comments , perform only, then you can talk. We ,Indians used to hear so much promises from our Guru Greg that----------------------------!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is living in fools paradise.Just to please his new sponsorors he is giving this assurance.Tendulkar is finished now.He is greedy about money and thats why he is sticking to his place in the team at the cost of others. For opposition team now a days Tendulkar is bakra.
On what basis he is assuring that Indian team will be successful in SA.On you hoem pitches, before your own crowd, you are unable to even reach last 4 places.Just fools parasdise.

Don't say this....
by Narayan on Nov 06, 2006 05:44 PM

Sachin,

You should not have said this unless you actually do it. Remember, this is not exactly the same team which went to South Africa for World Cup 2003; nor Ganguly the captain. Do you think is it so easy to beat South Africa on their home soil? DUHHHHH

No Hope,

We are sorry to UNDERSTAND, explaining, that PLAYED WELL, BUT SHORT OF 10 RUNS. These words are not digestable. With this explaination, MR. KIRAN MORE AND MR. POWAR will be happy, not me.
