Mr, Tendulkar.please you criketers dont fool the innocent people. it is clear that your lot of time is being invested in doing ads. which is nothing but to make money fast. we will see if the criketer dont take part in ads atleast for one whole year and concentrate on playing criket. he will definitely have consistency in his performance. not like the present team members.

Sachin's promise

He is not the only man in the team.

Has he forgotten this fact?

Or is this media hype to grip advertisements slipping from his hand?

We are tired of hearing these kind of statements
by Bala on Nov 07, 2006 01:06 AM

well said by sachin!! but

How can you win SA with batsmen lik Kaif and Raina who will give at least 2 maiden overs to bowlers after 40th over of the match. Moreover, without Yuvraj singh?

Bowlers like cannot sreeshanth, Agarkar and Khan cannot raise the ball over the batsmens hip even in Perth. They donot want to get some pain on their backbones to extract bounces.

Tendulker's promise
by T.P. Viswanathan on Nov 06, 2006 11:59 PM

Tendulkar nowadays keeps up only one promise - filling his pocket with newer and newer ad and sponsorship. When he got a new contract, he was very charitable to ensure victory to Indian team, but he rarely keep up his promise.

He should understand that he is looked upon as a greater motivator than the captain of the team, by the cricket fans. Unfortunately, he has been failing repeatedly, inviting adverse comments/criticism. Let him work and prove at leastonce.

cricket frauds
by R.U.Bhandarkar on Nov 06, 2006 11:09 PM

whom is tendulkar kidding? Indian cricketers are nothing but frauds getting fat on product endorsements in collusion with MNCs and servile media. They just thrive on hype. The indian public is the most gullible in the world, exploited by this useless lot who can't bat or bowl for nuts. World cup will show up these clowns what they really are - an unpatriotic corrupt bunch of selectors, managers and third-rate players. God help us.

We will return triumphant from South Africa : Tendulkar
by Ponneth Kochunny on Nov 06, 2006 10:13 PM

It is surprising that Sachin Tendulkar has gone on record saying that the Indian Cricket Team will return triumphant from South Africa.

I cannot see how the Indian team scoring runs against fast bowling. All Indian batsmen including Tendulkar are vulnerable to genuine fast bowling. He should know that the South Africans are not going to throw medium pace strikable balls at the Indians. Performance of the Indian batsmen in the just concluded Champions Trophy as also in every match against Australia has shown they do not know how to tackle the fast, rising ball.

In these circumstances, if Tendulkar comes out with such a bold statement, then I can only say that the matches have already been fixed in advance.

I am happy to see Mr Tendulkar's "positive" frame of mind and hope that it translates into a sterling performance that the country would be proud off . How long are we to be shown the 1983 final highlights to fuel up the passion ? It's time to stand up and be counted !
