April 3, 2006 Dear Cricket Friends, U should be happy to know that today our deaR Dd is completing his decade in LOI. U would perhaps remember that he made his LOI debut against Sri Lanka at Singapore on April 3, 1996. Though potentially, Dravid is not an ideal one-day material yet he has succeded in all the roles he has been assigned during this decade--Late order batsman, early order batsman, opener, holder of one-end as a wall, off-spin bowler, wicketkeeper, captain and what not ? Let us wish him all the success for the next decade. After all, his success is our happiness. Yours truly, Navin Chand
I expect a big 100 from Rahul in this on-going third test. After all the batsmen walked to the pavilion he gets going and going and send India to the big Innings. The way he played and leaved or also impressive...I'm a big fan of him.
Hats off to Rahul Dravid. His dedication, discipline, contributing to team cause, selfless character will no doubt is applicable to any person in any profession. If anybody wants to succeed in his/her career, just emulate Dravid and that is a sure way for success and recognition. His approach will be taught in B Schools not long time from now.
A very follower of GR Viswanath, I hadbeen watching the indian team coming up and on a stage when D B Vengsarkar was there it was of the same feeling...after that...the team had a vacant...place ..for a very defined player and...the answer that the board could find is to bring this young serious...less talking ...but...a wall....for building the great wall....of...indian cricket..
hats off...to this...young man... GOD BLESS HIM... INDIA IS PROUD TO HAVE...A SOM LIKE HIM..
