BCCI and Indian Cricket Captain and the Coach are WIMPS who donot have an iota of self prestige. They tolerate every abuse in the name the good cricketing manners. Things would have been different had Ganguly been the captain of the team. Greg chappel doesnot care about any thing as long as he remains the coach. Dravid had no buisiness to accept that doni was out once umpires had declared him NOT-OUT.
It is frustrating to see two different kind of yardstick while dealing with the sub continents cricket players and the rest! Are Indian players and board so week that THEY CAN HARDLY PROTEST? We can live with out the ICC but ICC will be a third rate sports body with out the Asian nations. It is high time for BCCI to bring in the fact and take up the issue with ICC once and for all
It not the Sehwag..who is fined..The indian cricket control board is fined. Yes, because you recall previous tour fine to with Saurav Ganguly..Harbajan..Cricket control board newer backed indian cricketers. They should fight against this and stop all these..If Sehwag is punished for celebrating without appealing...why next day westindian bowler did same thing.. but not punished. Vishwesh
Who is that big headed Lara to tell any of our players to get out of the field jus b'cause he doesn't want him to continue. And this Dravid never came out of the dressing room to know what was happening on the field. How would Dhoni ever explain what was happening on the field? It should have been a Captain to captain affair....... Had Ganguly been there he would have blasted those people.Ganguly was a better captain than Dravid and thats why people ike Sehwag miss Ganguly at times!
If Sehwag is fined for excessive appealing why the hell Lara is spared? Lara should have been handed a 'series ban' for his behavior on the ground. It's a basic rule that in case of any doubt the benefit always goes to batsmen.
It's certainly a case of applying double standards and as usual BCCI will keep its mouth shut.
Rules & regulations , code of conduct are meant to be equal for every player/team in the game and if ICC doesn't think this way then it should publish separate set of rules & regulations, code of conduct for every country/player.
BTW, I thought, only Mr. Crowe seems to a blind person but after reading Mr. Dave Richardson's comments I realised he is also in the same category of that Mr Crowe.
this is injustice to our indian players who are fined in almost every tour they attend either at home or on their overseas tour. icc exihibits a fair amount of partial behaviour.
