Had I been a sniper, Ganguly would have been my first target in New Year 2006. Two, in form openers had to sit out just for the sake of this old man. I agree he was a great player once upon a time but why is he determined to keep up the tradition of, "another ugly exit for an Indian captain".
Something is fishy here....Yesterday, Ganguly said he has no problem to open the innings and today he is refusing. I am sorry to say that Indian captain is not showing his metal when required. First of all, there is no place for ganguly in this team and he should be regarded as a replacement if something goes wrong in the middle of the series. The way things are going right now, dravid should openly come out against ganguly and kick him out. Chappel seems to be loosing his aggressiveness. Too much politics and too little cricket...If first day at Lahore is any indication, then the picture form Team India is not encouraging...
Please verify the truth of articles before printing. Walia, the coach and most newspapers have said things to the contrary. Are you suggesting they lied? In Ganguly's situation do you think he would refuse to open? As your friend Ravi Shastri the great Chanakya says, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see this.
how can one get so stupid? were u present at the spot? or did any one of the trio inform u od wht happened? if u guess something of such sensitive nature, plz for god's sake make sure to mention tht next time u post such a message.
