Where r those people who had claimed that tendulkar is done with his career...At te age of 37 this year already posted 1270 runs in test at an Bradmanic average of 97.97....Ad also the first man on the planet to make 200 in a ODI
Which Wicket Kepper on TOP in ICICI World Ranking. I just want to know which wicket keeper on TOP in ICICI World Ranking. If you are good fan of CRICKET solve my question.
it tottaly true that sacin is god of cricket...he made his runs at the time when average batting runs were 250 ....nows it's more..moreover ..ponting never faced Shane warne Mcgrath..wasim akram...Ambrose..etc....ponting rised when they are gone....Ponting also has a team which is much much better comparead to Indian ....you think one thing that whether ponting has the capability to stand with the expectations of 100 crores single handly and let this Indian team to qualify for super 8....Of course I agree such has grown old but ..still no Indian has the ability to replace him ...then why blame him for loosing the world cup..??
Sachin's career is never done because he still have many years left. As of his records, his test records might look beatable, however, i think that it will be impossible for anyone to breat his records. Let alne the Tests matches records, can anyone dare to break his One Day International Matches records of 40 centures, and 14,000+ runs. No way, he is going to pile up more runs and centuries. I'm not talking about ODI matches only but i'm also saying that he will continue to pile up centuries and runs the Test matches too.
No Sachin is a legend in his own right. he is mere immortal. He is the undisputed king of One day game. Even bradman would not have achieved what he have achieved in one day cricket.
But in test matches i will rate him 8 out of 10. Bradman-9.5 Lara-9 gavaskar-8.5
Its true tat ricky ponting is closing to break sachins record but for this simple reason we can't compare ponting with sachin. sachin's bad physical condition over the years prevented him from good form in test cricket but in ponting's case its right opposite ... so don't compare him with sachin , because sachin is a legend to cricket .. he is a great player in both forms of cricket ,but others whom u r comparing with sachin will be doing well in only any one form of cricket.. so don't ever compare sachin with other present day cricketers ..because according to me no one can be compared to that dedicated genius cricketer of our nation .
Sachin is the greatest batsman of all time after Sir Don Bradman and Viv Richards. There is no changing the fact. As for his form, when you reach 33, your talent and reflexes start to desert you. Its what happened/is happening to the Waughs, Aravinda, Lara, Jayasuriya and all others. The same is happening to Sachin. And why the obsession with numbers? Aravinda scored only 6000 Test runs, but is still the third batsman of our era after Sachin and Lara. Though Ponting and Kallis have more runs than him, they are still below him. And scoring runs after year 2000 has not been difficult because the bowling has been bad after that period. The really good batsmen are those that had a good average from 1990-2000. Surprisingly, Shaun Pollock is one batsman who figures there. So, when we look at form and numbers, analyse for the whole period and look at the factors behind those numbers as well. Sachin may be not in form now, but he has been all class for the last 20 years. No one can upstage him by scoring more runs than him.
Sachin has been never thrown out of the team.Ponting has been thrown out several times.Ponting is a late bloomer whereas Sachin has been playing from the Age of 16.Rickly Ponting form is currently at its peak. But it can never match how Sachin played during his days.
Ponting is a talent, but Sachin is a legend. If Sachin is less prone to injuries hereafter, then he can make an unbeatable record.None of the Batsmen you all have mentioned will get close to Sachin, except Lara.Lara himself has said,"Sachin's game is not over.By the time I reach 35 tons he'll be in his forties!". Let's take the case of ODIs.Remeber the 2003 World Cup?? Then u must surely remember Sachin!(The Man Of The Tournament)
I dont understand how people can be so crude and uncalculative. First it was Sachin vs Lara, then vs Hayden, then vs Steve Waugh and now Ponting. Many Aussies have come and gone and none were able to break Tendulkar's record or even match his genious. Its Tendlya who has always been the center of comparison.
Why doesn't one compare lara vs ponting? Coz its not worth it. Guys Ponting rides on luck, if tendulkar gets so many chances, Ponting in his dreams also can't surpass Tendulkar's record. Moreover right now Ponting is in form, lets see how many days it will continue.
Go on Sachin, nobody can beat you.. No Aussie has the talent to even match you, leave aside beating you.
People have faith in Sachin, he is going to be the best. Once in groove he is unstoppable.
