Sachin is a legend and legends cannot be measured in terms of just centuries. He has given joy and pleasure to every cricket fan for years together and his talent is intangible. His record may or may not be broken, but the legend will live forever just like Don Bradman who still the greatest not because of his highest average but for the player that he was. Sachin is forever.
Sachin has really slowed down during last cuople of years. till 2001-02 He was miles ahead of the others. But now Lara,Ponting,Inzamam,Hayden and Kallis are trying to catch him. Pariculrly lara in no. of runs and Ponting in both no. of runs & centuries.but i am sure that Sachin will come bakc to his peak form in this year. He will play for 5-6 years and will end up with 52-54 test centuries and about 15500-16000 test runs. But watch out for Pinting as age is with him and the way he is scoring and the amount of test cricket Australia plays he can definitely beat Sachin for runs and centuries as well.Lets wait and watch.
No one can match the great sachin Tendulkar. It is the manner that he score his runs separates him from the rest. The best thing about him is his handling of pressure since he shouldered the responsibility of the nation single handedly. Despite so much pressure he always remain in the top brass as a batsman. He will always be remembered second to Sir Don irrespective of his runs or amount of centuries he scores. Hats of to him All the Best in future, carry on Sachin!
Oh!Atlast there is someone who is catching up Sachin.But here again gainedr will be Sachin ,infact Sachin scored whenthere was no one means little motivation.But now when he wiill see someone following him he will too speed up and the next phase will be of Sachin.I forsee: 1.Lean of Poniting will start in 2006 Macrh and Rise of Sachin will continue till December 2006. 2.SACHIN IS VERY GENEROUSE in his approach but rICKY POINTING is not. 3.Sachin is close to humanity but Ricky is not. 4.Ricky has tremendous pressure being a Captain but Sachin is free of such oblugation. 5.Success never go to Sachin's head but Ricky is infested with. 6.Ricky is short tempred but sACHIN IS NOT. And above all 100 crore Indians are behind Sachin but there may not be more than 10 crore Australian behind Ricky.So the mould is clear and one can visulise and compare.
i am very sure sachin will score more than 50 hundred in test cricket. no one can achive this record. there is no doubt about sachin greatness. he was, he is & he will great crickter in the world.
Of course sachin hits 50 centuries and this record will be very difficult to surpass,But it is not the matter of how many centuries have been hit , its the matter of contribution to the team`s win and a part of bowling attack against which these centuries have been made.Real cricket loving persons know among these 36(or so) centuries sachin made how many rated high....sorry to disparage sachins efforts and also to hurt sachins fans but this is my opinion
Sachin will hit 50 100 as he is in good form. fitness and age is in his side. He had allready proven his grateness in world cricket. So i had no noubt that he will make 50 100s.Even he will break brian lara's record of maximum scores in test cricket also.
