It is very unfortunate that manager of the team is uttering such a comment in the beginning of a tour which will damage the morale of Ganguly. Is it a deliberately done so that he will be under pressure and could not be able to perform. Mr Manager should be reprimanded by the BCCI for his irresponsible behaviour at the start of such an important tour.
This is an ill-fated situation in Indian history that the team manager make false statements on a top Indian batsman. We cant understand why is BCCI tolerating this man as a manager in the team. He should be supportive in the team, but should not degrade a former captain's performance or character and that too outside India, where our players got to perform. This is really ridiculous that Mr. Sharad Pawar is not taking these acts into consideration. However might be Mr. Ganguly, but he was the best captain India has seen and there is no such Captain in the past nor will be in the future and even though you say more against him, it will not degrade Ganguly, but thy himself( Dungarpur). Mr. Dungarpur is not even so much qualified to say words against the former captain.
I am surprised to read about Rajsing Dungarpur's comments on Sourav Ganguli after the Indian team arrived in Pakistan. This remark of Dungarpur clearly shows the character and integrity of the people managing Indian cricket.The same dungarpur showered praises on Ganguli only a couple of days back. This clearly shows that Sourav has no problem - neither as a man nor as a cricketer.He must have refused to budj before whimes of people like Dungarpurs and thus earned their ire. It is in the best interest of Indian cricket the cricket organisation must be cleansed from such vicitious people.Who doesnot have any contribution to Indian cricket
"One of my players is very lazy and he is not fit and so on and .so on . ". Can you expect such a statement like this even from manager of a school cricket team. But Shri Raj Singh Dungarpur is such high class and high caliber National Manager, incharge of Team India. We should be really proud of such person and award BCCI for selecting him for an important tour.
Let whatever he says is true, how this non- sense manager can talk like this to press about a Team India Player. (Now Ganguly is not an out side individual) Dungarpur is not a critic from out side. He is also a member and incharge of the team. If he has such an openion, he should not have accepted the assignment and whatever he wants to say he can say to any body. He has totally forgotten the purpose for which he has been sent and started talking irresponisibly it is shame for India. This shows he has not come out of the hang over of their ugly politics, during the BCCI election. The old man should realise that he is an Indian Cricket Official sent to Pakistan for facilatiting the Team India, by taking care of activities other than Technical Assistance so that team can concentrate only on c
