Unwanted Speech

Raj,
Why not you join Indian politics? Perhaps, you will get a taste of your own medicine!!!
By the way, since when are you the spokesperson for John Wright (airing his views)?
Perhaps - this is a pre-requisite to get into Indian politics - eh?!?!?!

Dungarpur in poor light
by J.Ganapathy on Jan 07, 2006 02:26 PM

Dungarpur has behaved very lowly when he criticised Ganguly after reaching Pakistan. Whatever Ganguly is worth, the team manager is not supposed to belittle any team member that too on a visit abroad. Such Managers are damagers of team spirit. BCCI should recall Dungarpur immediately.

Dungarpur slams Ganguly

Raj Singh's comments are most ill-timed and in very poor taste, specially when the team is already in Pakistan and he is the Manager.
Whatever transpired in the Chappel/Ganguly/BCCI episode is all behind us and there is no reason to have made the comments that he did.
Such an attitude towards one player can only affect the morale of the whole team, which is the last thing any Indian would want.
It is more than clear to all and sundry that this tour for Ganguly is either a make or break situation, as would be for some others, but the Manager should confine his role to his official duties, rather than make personal comments on individual players.
BCCI should sound Raj Singh on this immediately and ensure that such things are not repeated.
As a Manager, he will have his opportunity to give his report and his views once the team is back.
At this point in time let one and all back our team whole-heartedly and give them all the support they need.

Durgapur Slams Ganguly
by Anand on Jan 07, 2006 01:29 PM

It is unfortunate to see the hasty comments by Durgapur against Ganguly, at a time that the former captain is preparing to comback after a bad patch. Instead of giving encouragement, his outburst against ganguly is an indication of frustation, senelity and oldage problem. It is high time that BCCI appoints someone who is objective and clean in approach for the Team manager. Not a senile personality. Let Durgapur use his wisdom for overall success of team
Anand
