One should hold ones head high

I have seen Bedi for long. I have admired him in more than one way. But my main admiration is that Sardarji is a fighter to his core. His article shows what the current indian set up is lacking-indian boldness and courage precisely. Our Country has belief more in outsiders than in ones own! What a foreign love! The rights of Iran is more important than the rights of India!!what a way.Making Nepal from a state of india nearly to a deadly enemy to dance in the tunes of China AND PAKISTHAN-WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT...

Bedi's Column on 10-Feb-2006

Mr Bedi's views here are very much in line with his much-respected stature as an world-class spinner and as an ex-Indian captain (unlike most of his venom directed to Ganguly, no matter what).

Given his experience, Kumble would have been the right choice as change spinner to cover Harbhajan's injury. Have Dravid told Chappell, "I need Jumbo now, Greg" !

rahul cannot ask for Kumble then the qustion of Ganguly would come up. Kumble as said, God knows why,is unfit for shorter version of the game and if he is included then the qustion would surely arise what wrong did ganguly do? So mr clean has taken the safest way select someone from the west and keep the board and tendulkar happy. This is Indian cricket.
