Absolutely ridiculous
by wilfred on Feb 02, 2006 03:59 PM

Why only tendulkar being blamed. Why not the wall who collapsed in both innings and sultan of multan who gifted away his wicket cheaply.Everyone 's dissapointed abt india's defeat but blame should go to whole team not an individual. What the hell is everyone thinking a new player can withstand bowlers like lee, akhtar,Mcgrath etc., no way.All inda need is to perform as a group and confidence level itself shoots up in that case.

Tendulkar to go
by Ram on Feb 02, 2006 03:56 PM

The BCCI selectors should apply the same rule for tendulkar too. Saurav infact contributed well while comparing tendular. Tendulkar should give way for youngsters.

Kaif and other youngsters would have turned the series other way.

Endulkar?
by Ramesh Brahmadathan on Feb 02, 2006 03:54 PM

There is simply no one out there to replace him. Besides, the mood a month ago was one of celebration (2-0 over Sri Lanka). We lose one test (and that too a test where the Paki bowlers probably bowled their best ever) and the tides change? How ridiculuous!

We must keep this team going through until 2007 WC. Perhaps rotate youngsters on and off. Speaking of youngesters, even they'd rather have Sachin in the team - for his advise, his experience and simply his heart.

hi,

I think toooo much is being made about Sachin as Team India's Lost the series. Hardly anything would have been written or mentioned had we won the same game with Sachin scoring same number of runs.

Please Leave Him Alone.... He is too great a contributor to the Indian Cricket itself to be commented in this way. Atleast former cricketers, especially Indian, need to look at themselves and self - contribution before commenting on Sachin's form in recent times.

He deserves to be there in our team with all the respect and admiration. He has been a fighter and I pray, God gives him strength to bounce back to shut Media's mouth...

We Love Sachin and will love forever... He WAS, IS & WILL BE THE BEST................

Tendulkar, please leave !!!
by Ramesh on Feb 02, 2006 03:52 PM

The time for his retirement is already over! Not only because he was not able to score runs, but the way he played and out which clearly states that he is niether confident against quality bowling, nor interested in anything other than hiw own records. He himself knows that he is not able to play good bowling, so there is no point in keeping such a player in the team, whatever glorious was his past. He lacks slef-analyzing ablity, never understand that he is best only when he is aggressive. He was not considered as a match-winner even when he was at his peak. And, now even tail-enders seems to be much better batsmen than him. Dear 10du, please realize that luck favours brave persons only ! It is really amazing that some peoples compare him with legends like ViV Richards and Bradman. They should note that Viv has never played even a single innings for his personal records. The records were following him when he played for the team!

No it is not fair to attach sachin
by shashi uttam on Feb 02, 2006 03:50 PM

Though all the guns are firing towards Sachin,

but it willnot be justice to the master as

one can see that he was bowled out by a low delivery in karachi match,

as far as gloving is concerned he may not be aware of that his hand is not touching the bat at the moment ball kissesd his glove ,

he turned back to poavallion out of sportman spirit

on e must give his the credit for what he has done for india and cricket in particular

It looks so artificial to call Tendulkar as Master Blaster and Sehwag as Sultan of Multan.
What sort of master Blaster is Sachin? In our country, we unnecessarily give a person larger than the life image. Sachin is no blaster. He should quit of his own rather than being thrown out.Either you perform or you retire, there is no third option.
Similar is the case of Sulatan. What sort of Sultan he is? A real Sultan is one who can take the country out of a difficult situation. Sehwag is a fake sultan who just can not perform under pressure. Pakis deserve praise for forcing these blasters and sultans to bite dust. There was a pathetic photo of Blaster in today's paper. They take their spouses with them, stay at 5 star hotels at the cost of the poor people of this country and enjoy life without any worthwhile performance. It is high time that they be barred from taking their families with them so that they can devote their full energy towards cricket and don't waste it else where. If they can't do without their wives, they better stay at home and give chance to younger players. They may be performing better else where in ads etc. and making fortune but on cricket ground, they are just ZER

Tendulkar should quit now.
by Devesh Pandey on Feb 02, 2006 03:38 PM

Its not too tough to find some very good batsman in India ... but this politics in cricket. tendulkar should now quit from active cricket and should coach the team. Newcomers are really to take his place.
