In the last decade or so the best fast bowler the world has seen is Glen Mcgrath. It would be sad to miss him after this world cup.Though he reduced his speed now to 125-130 km/hr, he is steel lethal to most good battesmen in the world.I enjoyed his bowling to greats like Sachin and lara. His accuracy at that speed is un believable!I don't see any other Australian bowler like him at the present.Infact after this world cup, we are going to see the end of these players:Brian lara,Glen Mcgrath,Sachin Tendulkar,Shuan Pollock,Muthiah Muralidharan,Sanath Jaysurya,Shane Warne,Adam Gilchrist,Mathew Heyden, along with some others. This will be an end to the present erra of cricket in one way and who knows we are going to witness some mediocre game of 20 overs cricket with some base ball heating battesmen in the middle!Wil it be the end of brilliant, spectacular and aristocratic cricket!Who knows!
Yes, its going to be a loss indeed not just for Australian Cricket but also for world cricket. We would really miss him in action. None can forget epic encounter between Sachin and McGrath. As aggressive he was on the field he was very generous outside and a great family man. Mc Grath you would be missed. Good Luck Ya
Will miss him, yes will surely miss him. I m an Indian and have hated McGra at times when his perfect yorker bailed out stumps of Sachin from the ground, or when he bowls his magic inswinger... But, we all know, he is one of the greatest legends in both forms of cricket, a humble guy by nature and committed to his game.... wish u all success in your life...c yooo
Only the bowler which will do the reverse as pitch give you. I love him for his best performances. He is good at any type of pitches & he was also strike bowler & the continuously maintain with his line & lenght bowler. I really missed him. I thought that this is good news for all the Batsman in the world. But this is very bad for me.
its a very sad news for all cricket lovers that glen mggrath will not be playing more.he was not only one of the great bowlers, but also is a great gentleman.
may the almighty instruct him to play for more and more so that we can enjoy.

When did Sachin win a match for India against quality bowling? Nothing I could remember. He was torn apart by Glenn in every encounter. We may not like it but that is the truth..
