Before calling anybody crap.. Mr.s ???(Afraid to tell ur name???)first see how much he has contributed to Indian cricket..He is the Greatest ever cricketer world has produced.Even Don Brodman would have struggled to cope with the pressure, expectations, conditions (even the techniques used by the bowlers by watching the video's etc.)if he would have played in Sachin's era. Carrying expectations of Billions & performing consistantly is not a joke.
His averages in both forms of the game justify this.
He is perfect Gentleman on & Off the field ...a Role Model for younger genaration.

Sachin - Icon of Indian youth
by srinivasa rao bhuvanagiri on Aug 29, 2006 07:07 PM

CRICKET, known to be a gentleman's game has given
so much fame, name and wealth to many a Players and made them to lead a successful and grand life for generations to come.
But here is a boy who not only by his actions on the field but also by his doings off the field has given new image to the game CRICKET in India and influenced a generation to sit and think and discuss of the greatness of the game and to imbibe his discipline and gentleness which made him a HERO than the records that came along during his career.
I am sure he would continue to contribute for the growth of the game in the years to come as also continue to influence the youth of this Country by interacting more through other social and political activities which also await a HERO like SACHIN. We wish to see him play an active role in improving the civic conditions in Mumbai, his favouraite city and also play his role in spreading awareness against Drugs, AIDS and prepare the youth to face man-made and nature-made disasters viz.acts of terrorism and floods, etc.
WISHING HIM ALL THE BEST IN THE YEARS TO COME.

there's a tendulkar in everyone of us
by Satish Mohite on Aug 29, 2006 05:51 PM

Tendulkar's story is no different than any other. The difference is the results of the tenacious and focussed efforts this man took very early in his life. Very early in life, his goals were crystal clear. Ably supported by his family, his talents were honed well by his teachers on the field.

Probably, there's a Sachin Tendulkar living in all of us. Unfortunately, only a very few talented individuals can discover him.
