Hi, Iam a Muslim and it really hurts to see such controversies even in the cricketing world.I dont think that sacking Dean jones would solve the problem.People should realise that just because some people do terrorist attacks in the name of religion all muslims are terrorists.Religion is a deeply personal issue, and if people really know about Islam, they should know that islam means PEACE and SUBMISSION.It is forbidden for muslims to hurt or kill anyone, according to the Khoran. Thus, people should refrain from commenting about something they do not really know. All religions spread non-violence,there is no such religion or God who wants people to be killed and we should really understand that.Let us not be biased and judgemental because no one except God has the right to judge others.Atleast we must spare the cricket world from such controversies.
Dean Jones has committed career suicide with his irresponsible, outrageous comment. It is deeply disappointing that this should turn up in International Cricket, no less. Not delving too deep into the politics, I just want to say that I am an atheist, follow no faith, can't relate to the Muslim faith at all and yet, I have the deepest sympathies for peace-loving, muslims - cricket fans included, who have to hear and put up with this endless, sometimes 'inadvertant', torrent of ignorant, illiterate bullsh*t from fools in the Western Media who just forget how to think and talk.
