It is rediculous ! such a responsible person is making thsi kind of statement. I think he is not deserving this post and Ten sports management should kick him out. otherwise like this comment it will cause uproar in public.
At a time when throughout the world all civil societies, countries, areas are velnurablly gripped by terrorism one must be very cautious in making a public comment against any individual,group, religion or country. We should learn to keep a strict tongue discipline. The comments made by Dean Jones for Amla are unfortunate. The people on higher positions should keep self control so that they do not become the preachers of hatered. It is good that Jones has apologised for his comments. It is also good that despite his apology he has been sacked. It will heal the wound. A clear message that guilty whosoever he will be not spared from punishment.
It is quite unfair to sack Dean Jones especially after he tendered full apology by saying 'sorry for making such a stupid comment. He further expressed in his apology "It does not represent who I am, how I think or what I believe"
Ten Sports has sacked him without taking into consideration that it deprived millions of Cricket followers of the commentary of Mr. Dean Jones, who is undoubtedly the Best in the business.
Dean Jones' remarks against Hashim Amla are racist and therefore deplorable and condemnable. By doing this he has not only harmed the South African player's religious sentiments but has degraded his own stature among his cricket fans. Sanjay Manjrekar might have set him up. Seems like Manjrekar is turning into a Muslim with his beard ha ha ha. He always likes to make critical comments about Indian players. Other commentators better watch out when they are around Sanjay Majrekar.
Hi, Iam a Muslim and it really hurts to see such controversies even in the cricketing world.I dont think that sacking Dean jones would solve the problem.People should realise that just because some people do terrorist attacks in the name of religion all muslims are terrorists.Religion is a deeply personal issue,and if people really know about Islam,they should know that islam means PEACE and SUBMISSION.It is forbidden for muslims to hurt or kill anyone,according to the Khoran.Thus,people should refrain from commenting about something they do not really know.All religions spread non-violence,there is no such religion or God who wants people to be killed and we should really understand that.Let us not be biased and judgemental because no one except God has the right to judge others.Atleast we must spare the cricket world from such controversies.
