We all know that sourav is a great captain.he takes captainship in 1999 when indian team is exploited by match fixing cases. under his leadership india wins lot of important matches.he always gives opportunity for youngsters.he is not selfish as dravid.
so now its clear that sourav n wright also have the typicall sweet n sour relationship but like recent chapter they both didn't settle for controversy but behave maturely and drive themselves for goal to excel which could be done now also but this time the personal ego of some people is valued more over than the contribution SOURAV COULD GIVE BY HIS SHARP BRAIN
There is One and only Sourav Ganguly,Nobody can be a Ganguly.He is the only captian loved his country than anything.Infront of him,Scahin or Dravid or.....is nothing.we have to wait for his come back or we have to wait for another Ganguly..

Ganguly is a good player but u can't and should not compare with Sachin and Dravid.i agree with ur point. Sourav will not return back........but u can wait for another sourav....but it also takes time.....
Today indian selectors hv forget that how Ganguly build the team from a very poor condition when india was in the state to loose matches even to those teams which hv no any great past just as the Zimbabwe. If indian team is dreaming to be a world champ then selectors must call back Ganguly for his experience and moral support to the players. Now he the need of indian team. Plz call back Ganguly and dream to be a champ otherwise it will be just a dream
John wright is remembered for his honest and straight forward approach, though he was often considered a soft man.
None of our sub-continent team or board is honest (except few players) enough to bring up a team and permit a honest coach like John to perform.
Known for our 'culture' of back biting, there will be no surprise of our men in blue's behavier with John, but its a shame on us.
Its 'nice' to know Sunil Gavaskar's, criticism. Howmany of his team members 'praised' him during his days. He is well known for his selfish style and unprofessional attitudes. Howmany of his captains were 'honoured' by him, ie from Ajit wadekar to Shrikant. His arrogant attitude to 'rest' Kaplil Dev for Kolkatta match is still in everybody's memory. To bring his son to team, he did all his tricks to please Ganguly and failed.
It is better for Sunil Gavaskar to look back, before criticise others. Who can forget his famous 50 runs in 60 overs in world cup.
It is true, Ganguly is known for his leadership, but his high handedness made him a down fall.

He is the true leader and as far your comments goes this attitude of people like you have allowed jokers like More leader of a pack of 5 selectors 4 of whom have not seen the international pitch forget about playing to survive. If Jaysauriya can come back and board was forced to bring him back why not Ganguly. At present we have 2 important leaders in the country who individually are masters in their domain one is PM Manmohan singh and another Rahul Dravid the indian captain one is a good economist and the other good batsman but real ineffective leaders. Remember a good pupil neednot necessary be a good teacher. Wait and watch the future as you mentioned forgot the bashing of 4-1 loss to 8 th ranked West Indies. I sincerley doubt and can bet if Indian team can make to the world cup finals. As long as they play this dirty politics of recalling Dinesh Mingia and not Zaheer Khan who is performing extremely well. I think one day you should be also dumped among your well wishers as history.
Ganguly was real hero. He is only one becuase of whom what we are watching India's cricket matches. Dhoni, Harbhjan, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Kaif are players who has selcted only because of him. In todays position if your national coah is showing you fingers, why he is there, this is not our culture and we are backing him for his nonsense things. Ganguly really made nation proud by throwing his t-shirt at lords that was perfect answer to Flintof what he did on wankhede stadium. Thats the passion, thats the spirit. He is real hero. He has that thrust of winning habit, which is gift to India. He should back in team. He sacrifice his opening position for Sehwag. Isn't this enough example for his devotion ? If Sourav opens for last 2 years, all world might see maximum century record on his name. As he is making century at faster pace than Sachin. people say he is not good at bouncy track, yes it is quiet right that Sourav gets out on that most of time. But if he is so worst he might not complete so many centuries in 1 day matches. He is real PRINCE of Indian Cricket.
So now one thing is certain that Sourav Ganguly had something which made him likeable as a captain even by his secret hate party. C'mon if you have a killer instinct to do your job well people tend to frown as they are more used to meek and timid fellows when it comes to speak before authority.Be it choosing team or winning Australia. Hats off to Sourav's positive spirit for his cricketing ability.
