Cricket Controversy
by C D Pereira on Sep 26, 2005 12:59 PM

Our Cricketers have got used to hogging the mention in our 'media',ads or otherwise.Where do they have the concentration on 'performance'?
2.The current 'noise' in the media re: Coach & Captain, the less said the better. Our players have not exactly covered themselves in glory with successive dismal performances in SriLanka & Zimbabwe.
3.Yet Shri Ganguly went public to complain that he was asked to step down etc. Then the infamous leak of a 'confidential' e-mail.
4.If this was not enough Harbachan Sigh has gone to the public, for which he needs to be disciplined, perhaps by suspension for a period of time or he renders an unconditional apology.
5.Indian Cricket could do with more serious attention to the game & match preparation than confrontation with the coach regardless of who it may be.

Support to Mr Chappel

Congt. to Mr. Chappel. Only a man of Mr. Chappel's caliber can point out this. Ganguli shold be thrown out from the team without any delay. He ia simply a manipulator like Mr. Dalima Ex President of BCCI.

As a matter of all those who support Ganguli shold be sacked from the BCCI.

chappel is doing right thing
by shri Sunil D.Nare on Sep 24, 2005 04:38 PM

According to my,Chappel is doing right thing in building our Indian Cricket team by keeping view to win world cup of 2007.

At present it is time to search for new players who really wants to play for India than individual perfomance.

Selectors should think on chappel's comments and take necessary suiltable decision to imporove Indian cricket.

Full support to Chappel

When the going gets tough, tough ones still get going! Others who fail to rise their performances simply will have to go aside. Great attitude.

Any one can't take their position in the team for granted. They have to work hard to retain their places. People like Ganguly who is 'hanging there' must be left out. Ganguly is fully out of form and out of confidence. Such a handicapped sloppy person can't be there atleast as captain. Chappel is right. Ganguly is physically and mentally unfit.

VISION 2007
by Ashish Subba on Sep 23, 2005 05:26 PM

The job of the coach is to coach a team given to him and not get involved in the selection procedure. If Chappel thinks that he is starting from a scratch, then he is taking away the hard work put in by John in making India a formadable team. Anyway there will certainly be a change in the leadership in Indian Team and it will not be a surprise to me if Ganguly is sacked from the team forever. What a sad end to such an exciting player's carrier. We indians have a short memory. Well done India. Another command given by a foriegn coach will be followed. India will never learn from its past.
