India's loss
by D.Sen on Nov 26, 2005 09:32 AM

Yesterday was the beginning of the end of the unholy, vindictive oppurtunist backbiting nexus of the new team managemnet. they claim to play well(i.e. why they dropped aplayer who has got double the no of ODI runs as their "learned" coach)on sporting tracks. Eden gardens showed their skeleton. they can only excel in slow turnersonly (so whats new Mr.Vindictive Chappell?
Really, it is said what bengal thinks today india thinks tomorrow. Bengal has discovered this oppurtunist coach-captain yesterday, now its time for rest of india to figure it out.
Congrats S.A.

Dear Mr. Chappel

This is a bong (an indian also..for the time being I prefer to be a bong)asking u a small question? How does it feel I mean after 10 wickets drubbing? I thought its Sourav Ganguly who cannot play seam and pace bowling....what happened to the rest? A lil bit of dead grass caused the havock? We need the Lankans back..definitely. All the best Mr. Chappel...ha ha

Humiliating Defeat
by Lakshminarayanan on Nov 26, 2005 09:20 AM

It was a most insipid display by our so called "Professional" Batsmen. It is humiliating that we could not take even one Wicket and allowed the South Africans to romp home. I think it is high time that the so called "Greats" give way for more deserving people in the country, if they do not perform. Tendulkar is one example. I have rarely seen him perform when India needs it most and Calcutta was another such instance. We should not be resting on past glory. Performance should alone matter.

Also, in your article you have mentioned that the ODI at Bangalore was abandoned. This is incorrect. It is Chennai. We won in Bangalore.

Abhinav Gaurav
SA won in INDIAN POLITICS
by Abhinav Gaurav on Nov 26, 2005 05:00 AM

Congrats to SA team to take advantage and win a game which would have been different with Saurav.

The way our great DRAVID AND SACHIN have kept their mouth shut and themselves playing and not scoring even in double digits even they should drop themself from the team and let Saurav played.

Right before the beginning of the tour, I wrote article on prediction that people should stop playing regional politics and give chance to player like Ganguly who has wonderful record against SA.

By keeping his silence Dravid has lost all his respect which he had earned in not playing any dirty game in saving his own skin for the team.

Wake up India before its too late...

Abhinav

Chappel India
by Sankayan on Nov 26, 2005 04:16 AM

Ultimately the cat is coming out of the bag, Irfan (new prospect as an allrounder) wasted, Sehwag (even he will find it difficult to remember when he took the initiative to bank the team to victory), Sachin (performance doesn't matter in his case), Dravid (no comments b'coz everyone will say I am a bengali thats why).
I really can't remember when did India lost in such a humiliating manner in last 5 years.

What a contradiction Captain of India really don't know what his job is(32 balls for 6 runs) and the Ex-Captain(159 runs and a 5 wkt haul against Maharashtra) after playing 10 yrs for the country still proving his class once again.

And outside Eden the Sourav fans were humiliated by the Police as they wanted to show a protest against the nasty politics.

Chappel wont let sourav play in the test b'coz he is not the one who will sign in the team of bootlickers.

SA win

We need to drop Tendulkar immediately. His batting is very poor.
Let us have one more batsman.

In the details of the cricket match just concluded between India and South Africa, it is mentioned that the 3rd ODI was abandoned due to rains at Bangalore !!!! It was Chennai and not at Bangalore!! Could you please correct it.
