Is this selection justified
by Sourav on May 20, 2005 02:15 PM

The turmoil in Indian Cricket which evoked curiosity worldwide ended today with the selection of Sir Greg Chappell as the new coach of Indian Cricket team. In his short speech of 20 mins. Sir Chappell was able to point out the weaknesses of Indian cricket team and had more better ways to handle them. Surely, this selection justifies, as in today's environment, when you are suppose to coach a cricket team who has the potential to become the world beaters, and to impress its cricket board, who is suppose to be the richest of all, you should be doing your homework well. Results in the coming 2 cricketing years will show, how much the presentation made by Sir Chappell will be actually put together to beat the Australians and the rest of the world as we all will be happy to see Sourav Ganguly(if he manages to stay as a captain) proudly waiving the Indian Flag(not his T-Shirt) and the World Cup in his hand. Go India Go, the new Principal of your Cricket School is here.

Hearty Congratulations to the Great Greg Chappell who has been appointed by the BCCI as India's New Cricket Coach.

My prayer has been answered by the Holy Father Jesus Christ. May the Lord give him enough wisdom and strength to lead the Indian Cricket Team to success.

Regards,
Edwin

atlast the first good decision by BCCI in years and also i thank the media and people to put tremendous pressure on them to bring a new coach as soon as possible,

there is a famous southindian proverb,

untill u dig hard, u wont find anything.

untill u torture, the BCCI they wont do anything good for cricket.

great news to hear.
