We agree with u Sachin performed well a decade back. That does not mean he has a licence to be in the side inspite of flops after flops. One has to see his present form and fitness. Players like Mathew Hyden was asked to accompany Drink trolley when he was out of form and Sachin is no exception. No heroworship of Cricketers should be made. What if Sachin is asked to play domestic cricket, regain his form and come back? Why he shd be included in National squad straightaway when in other countries even players like Glenn Mcgrath, Brett Lee are advised to play league Cricket and prove fitness before being included in national team. U mean to say we dont have talented players in such a vast country other than the half fit Tendulkar ?
Sachin says he will return to competitive Cricket within 16 weeks. For the past 5 years he has not done anything extra-ordinary to the game for the nation to be proud of. He has more enthusiasm for commercials than Cricket it seems.
Since the best out of Sachin will never come, it would be sensible if he retires gracefully. Lara will score 40 centuries and ensure that no one breaks his record. Hence Sachin need not keep any eye on the Century record and strain himself !!!!
Hey Sachin, thats true that u need not to worry abt the surgery results as billions of people are praying for ur recovery...& we want to see u in action asap. we all luv u.
DEAR SACHIN, One billion people in this country are praying for your good health. Don't worry about the surgery . You will get well very soon and play like the 16 year old guy again. Take care.
I cant believe there are so many people here who are criticizing Sachin for his recent bad form due to injuries.
Are we forgetting that this is the same Sachin which was the sole reason we always wanted to watch India's batting? The contributions he has made for the Indian team? How he has single handedly saved India on so many occassions?
Instead of wishing him a faster recovery and hoping to see more of the Master Blaster...all we are doing is showing too much pessimism...this is not right.
Well, I for one wish Sachin a quick recovery...whether we'll see more of him or not is something I'd leave on time.
I do agree there is a lot of talent waiting to be explored, but still..I'd definitely like to see a lot more of Sachin.
