Hi, THis has ref to statement made by Nair,Secretary BCCI wrt to Laxman inclusion in the team saying "we will give him one last chance"(as published in Newspaper).Nair should learn to respect players and he should realise that he is demoralising and putting unwanted pressure on players even before the series starts.Can he make such statements against Sachin or Ganguly in case they have a bad series..Laxman is a class player beyond doubt. It is very surprising to see that KAIF was dropped and Yuvraj was included into the test squad for the upcoming Pakistan test despite his current form with the bat and his brilliant fielding. Whenever Kaif has been given a chance, he has proved his metal. While Yuvraj has failed miserably in tests. I think this is injustice to Kaif.
Kaif should play in place of the very very Pathetic Laxman. I will pay Laxman his match fees out of my pocket, if he will spare India the pain of him playing , instead of Kaif. I am serious.
People have short memory.

Why dont people point the Indian Captain about his performances as a player? Whenever you wanted to include some one all your fingers points to poor Laxman to drop.Its true that Laxman failed in recent tours (Australia, South Africa and Bangladesh). At the same time except Sehwag, no Indian batsmen succeded in the mentioned serieses and. PLease do recall your memory when Laxman scored centuries against Austrilia, Pakistan series. A person having matured knowledge about the game will not comment like this abt Laxman's performances.
How can u replace Kaif with Yuvi..... Yuvi is a class player but at present Kaif is a better test player than Yuviiiiiii. This is just because one player was favoured by..... Why was Laxman selected.. Just because of that Heroic Double Tonne.... Well that is past & can not be ruled out but then currently he is not in form.... He has not performed consistantly for so many series compared him Yuvi & Kaif both are far more consistent.... Just because a player stirkes a century once in a Blue Moon here or there can not be criteria of selection. Where is Ajit Agarkar????? Nehra has been picked for what? Just for his poor form last season or his inconsistancy or because he is very frequently injured or is it that his fielding is outstnding?????? Agarkar was very consistent & economical last season. Even in he is a better fielder & batsman. Atleast he should be given a chance in Board President XI. Overall side is very well picked up but then there has to be some consistancy. We are playing Pakistan this time not Bangladesh. Though in India, but pitches & condition in Pakistan are no different from India. Just one wrong move and we will taste what they tastes in last series in Pakistan
Despite best performances against world's best team Austalia, talented brigade Kaif is left out.Kaif has performed well in KCP Salvey Challenger Trophy. Keeping his record in Test matches against Australia, he should be in the team. Palyer may perform well in the domestic circuit but the consistent players should represent for the country.
