Why Ganguly to be Dropped
by Vidya on Dec 15, 2005 11:08 AM

<>Based on the performance of last test match....

then he played very well than Gambir

<>New opener to be included in team

Good! then remove Gambir and include Jaffer

<>this is very clear politics

not to a person who is very aggressive in captaincy and having so much off successiveness.

Poor Decision...

First of all Selectors should have depth knowledge of Cricket....

On Ganguly's omission in 3rd Test Match
by R. Michael Ananth on Dec 15, 2005 10:35 AM

Hello Sir/Mam,
This is quiet unfair to omit the much experienced batsman Sourav Ganguly from the winning squad for the thrid test match at Ahmedabad. The selectors can't omit a player, who has performed in a better way in the last test match with an average of 40 approx. in last match. Seeing the future, which is just a guess work, you cant forget about the present contribution of a person who has worked hard for the victories of Indian Cricket in the past. Offcourse the selectors gave a chance to Ganguly but dropping him from the team even after a decent score he made in last 2 innings is very unfair decision. I can't understand how Rahul Dravid is quiet after omitting Ganguly from the winning squad? I suppose the selectors and the coach are having a different thoughts regarding Ganguly alone in their minds.
