by seeing the previous record of inzy he should be in the world XI, presently he is performing better the some of the players who is selected in this team. take example of verender sehwag he is in poor perform. it is a surprised to every one by hearing smith as a captain. i can say it is a poooooooooor selection.
Dear Inzamam, There is no need to worry about not being selected for the World XI.It is not important at all. Moreover The Selectors belong to the past generation (Miandad days,A very dishevelled ambassador of your country).You are a wonderful captain and a very good leader, because of which Pakistan is such a fit team both physically as well as mentally.You carry a bold message on your batting colours which reads that being reticent is not being defeatist.Carry on buddy.We in India love you for what you represent.Good luck in all your endeavours both on and off the field.
it was an outrageous decision...i wish gavaskar wud not be the chairman...the favoritism was quite transparent...i dont have any clue why tendulkar was picked...based on what he did last 2 yrs he shud have been excluded...and if this effort is just another example of advertisement....well...i'm sorry ...i've nothing to say...
I think the best team for world XI would be selected if ICC named 20 good players and then select best 13 by taking Internet voting. As cricket lovers are more important for this game to be alive they have human rights to select there best players whom they want to watch. Thus my proposal for ICC that next time they may use this method of selection which would be more perfect and neutral. Also involvement of cricket lovers would make this game more interesting and popular in future.

Selection of world XI undoubtedly shocking a lot of cricket lovers like me. I think Vaughan is an automatic choice as Test captain and Inzamam as ODI captain for world XI replacing G. Smith who is not at all a player of world class, also lack of much experience from Teat squad and Gibbs from ODI. K. Sangakara should be included in Test squad also as he is far better keeper and batsman than Boucher also have great experience to keep against Murali. R.Dravid omission from ODI team should cost a lot as he was no.1 ODI batsman last season, more over he is only batsman you always need to chase any target as he is most consistent, reliable and in from (3 50s in last 5 matches) at present. C. Vass should be included in both team replacing any one as he is better than any one at present team as a bowler. Also a lot of good players like S. Joysuria, S. Chandrapaul, M. Atapattu, M. Jayawardhane, N. Astle , Anil Kumble would still be out of squad as there are only 11 seats. But an intelligent selection may strengthen more than the present.

Gavaskar has soft corner towards Tendulkar, although Tendulkar is injured and has not played Cricket for a long time. Gavaskar has taken into consideration Tendulkars past performance/records as a licence to include him in both type of tournaments.
I wonder how Gavaskar holds the post of Chairman, ICC Selection Committee, as he has not applied his mind to go into realities while selecting ICC XI. Gavaskar no longer deserves to hold the top post, as he is biased and petty minded.
Stupid decision to leave out Inzy. If you go by the current from, Sachin should not be there in both the teams and Inzy should have been in the test team.
Really it was shocking to hear that inzi being dropped from the team despite his good form and tremendous ODI and test record.I think there woulld not be a better batsman in the number 5 slot and aslo a better captain to lead World XI.The selectors have created a blunder by omitting him from the squad.When a player like Greame Smith or Shewag can get a chance to play ,why not Inzi?
