Enuf guys,,,,now stop all this crap bout Ganguly... This man has sacrificed his position in the batting line up to accomodate a player...and look where the player(Sehwag) stands right now in world cricket....
as for his form,we all know form is temporary...class is permanent....and a player who has 22 centuries in ODI cricket cant lose his class in just one series...
so just let him chill and take his time... he will bounce back and shut up the mouth of some dumb headed ppl like Mohinder Amarnath and Srikanth...
Why mix up Ganguly with the loss at Kanpur, I think Balaji or Zaheer or all other pace bowlers should look at Australians to learn how not to get rattled by some awesome hitting. If Afridi goes crazy then you use your brain to get him out. That should be the case. Ganguly has nothing to do with todays loss. If he were there then he would have scored his 2 or 3 before sacrificing his wicket to his terrible form he is in. Let him rest, go back to nets, Ranji trophy or atleast his backyard to learn some footwork! The loss today is nothing, when Dhoni went on a hitting spree we all had grin upto the ears, so today was Afridi's, dont loose hope, play with brain, Team India!!!
Well after losing three one day continuously,Players and the selectors of the team should analyse sincerely the cause of the defit.Do our players lack in ability or we are not able to choose right team for the match.
I think our players are able to put right score but the bowlers who are not able to do their job properly.
I dont know what zaheer khan doing in the team and why he is selected? he is not batsman not he is taking any wickets in the match.Batsman like sachin, sehwag and yuvraj singh has to bowl in the match and they are taking wickets in the match regularly though they are not regular bowlars.
Zaheer khan is only for show or just to complete 10 overs in the match.
Indian should learn something from australian team. From their bowlars and batsman, How they bowl in the match and take wickets. They removed steve waugh from one day captaincy though he did well in many matches.
I think Indian cricket team should select the team based on their talent and not for their personal interest or because of their good relation with players. Otherwise they will not reach on top any time and will loose match continueously.
The present Indian team has no good player except Sehwag and Dravid.Even Sachin is concerned of his reputation.In the last match when everybody was against him he scored a century to calm the critics but not for the team.He consumed many balls for that stupid century ina losing cause.Similar is the case with kaif and yuvraj.Everybody in the Indian team plays on reputation.In Australia Steve Waugh was dropped from the one day team because Australia has not reached finals in that series.
Some superhumans we have immense faith on, let us down again and again...
For instance Tendulkar ! Its time we accept that he is no GOD ... in fact he seems to be getting more and more adept at inconsistency. I get the uneasy feeling he had a role to play in our loss, maybe even in the previous One Day match.
Prem : The entire media as well as you have been blaming Ganguly for his off form and not doing well as a captain. I must say there is something wrong with all you guys as you damn care about the stats.For the year 2004-2005 ganguly did perform well with his bat in ODI scoring 90's in 2 occasion and 50's in 2 occasions.It was like this when Tendulkar got out for zero , ganguly scored runs and viceversa. And regarding his instincts as a captain he is much much ahead of so called level headed BEDI , who left no stone unturned to criticise ganguly , I think he is more of a regionally biased man rather than a critic.Ganguly will definitely come back and answer his critics , he is a player who has done this for many occasion. Perhaps he is the only Indian player I believe who has been criticised 1000 of times although his contribution to the team is huge and awesome.It also very sad that when Tendulkar plays bad , the entire media stood beside him . It has happened number of times before. I personally feel Tendulkar as a player is very good who plays for him and for his records rather then TEAM INDIA.
Its all fixed.Just imagine if pak wins all these matches in a row and wins the series in just the first few matches,then there will be a huge loss of investment.I guess everyone can understand what I mean.They just build up this hype to take the series till the last match and India will inevitably win it,since India and pakistan are in a "historic friendship pact".I totally lost Interest in cricket but Tendulkars century and dhoni's 148 were worth watching.Other than that,I dont see any talent anywhere.Its like the bollywood movies these days,all similar love stories.It hurts to watch cricket stoop down to such low level.Its hurts when we watch lakhs of Indians going to the stadiums to watch their favourite tean play with people's emotions.It hurts even more when we think why so many Indians are on the streets on a working day?Usually in USA,matches are held on weekends or fans make ticket purchase almost a year before the season even begins.Its better that teenagers and all cricket fanatics know the ultimate reality now.After all,the players we see on the team are all some how related to people in top posts and are getting rich by modelling and not by cricketing.funny huh!!!!!!!!
