ok so u want to say that india won due to sachin right? wat a pity wat a pity? india won bcoz:
1) aussies poor batting. if their batting had like that they continued in past india could have never won this match.
2) give credit to our bowlers who smaeshed aussies first innings quickly so that little scores f 55 69 27 and 25 were enough for them to make ausies out.
(poor karthik and harbhajan will never be heroes for media but only sachin photo will be displayed which cant be hero in this match)
3) india lucks: yes believe it or not ts india luck that made india won this match. how many of us were sure that india will win despite of presemnce of sachin? and wats sachin average in last ten 12 innings?
let me tell u that this match will help the poor performers like laxman , sachin kaif to be in team and they r a bit lucky too. remember its noty a great victory but just a luck.
A pitch which would cause two best batting sides in the world get out in two days two times is appropriate evidence of the pathetic state of the pitch. Are we all sitting in front of the TVs are just looking for an Indian victory or there is more to it. Aren't we looking for a few boundaries, a few sixes 800 900 runs and then the decision of the match. The total score of this match after four innings is at times the score what teams get on Indian pitches in one innings. I was really ashamed as an Indian by making such a pitch. Making a pitch which is unplayable for batsman is not something to cheer for or to cherish the outcome of it whether a loss or a victory. Please Please, For God Sake, Indian Board, at least keep our head high when we say that we have won over Australia. In the second match, if we had won, it would have been a real deserving victory. But, what was this pitch. Come on. Give me the ball and believe me on this pitch I could trouble Australian batsmen. LOL. Pathetic.
I was a little miffed when I read this headline 'India escape to victory'. Compare that headline to BBC website - 'India pull off astounding victory'. It gives a total different image of this match. And I've to agree with BBC. It was an absolutely astounding victory. One that Indian players made happen with sheer fight and determination. They weren't lucky, they batted better in the 2nd innings. They fought back in the match to restrict Australia to 203 in the 1st innings and then batted well to score 200+ in 2nd innings and then bowled magnificently to bowl them out for 93. You don't that an 'escape to victory' !
At the start of the series pundits predicted that the series is in hands of performances by Laxman and Sachin. We won the last series only when they clicked. The series would have been 2-2 had the second day not washed out. Kudos to Karthik, Bhajji and the old horse. Atleast Aussies' 93-10 will give them enough nightmares about India. Alas we couldn't square the series.
after captain ganguly chickened out looking at the green top in nagpur, he should be sacked and kicked out of the team. sachin should be the captain till he decides to retire and dravid should be hi deputy. good luck india!
The series could have easily gone India's way but for the rain in Chennai and one idiot who worked on the pitch in Nagpur. Did we not get the pitches that did suit the Newzelanders in Newzeland ?? Mind you even in Australia we did not get spinning wickets but only Batsmen friendly wickets. It is time that we Indians take care of Idiots who create pitches like Nagpur just to get cheap publicity.
Sir Do not waste your and other's time on this foolish game of Cricket. Do not write so long test history of game. It is crap. Use your web site for some good reasons. Best regards
