i really woulld like to appreciate Mr Ashish Magotra for the wonderful commentary he has put up. Just by reading the commentary one can visualise the entire events of the match - especially for a person who could not watch it - like me. Thumbs up to him. Keep it up.
Does it surprise anyone that Tendulkar got the match award? He loves to bully minnows and it is no secret that when India plays Bangladesh, Kenya, Zimbabwe he gets the match award most of the times. And that's one reason why his ODI career average still looks good even though he fails in crucial fixtures with the big teams. What did he do when India chased 283 with SL? Not that the defeat spoilt our chances, but that's usually the case with Sachin. One can bet his bottom rupee that when India chases a big total in a crucial fixture, Sachin comes a cropper. Sachin Fans, leave out those 2 innings vs Australia in Sharjah!!

hi mate, what can u say about the successful World Cup series Sachin had. Rahul Dravid is the main stay and has been a reliable batsmen for more a year now. But eachand every one has their days. Opening an innings is a hard job. Later batsmen can adjust to the circumstances. But a opener going in first has the responsibility to play positive and agressive no matter agsinst whom he is playing.
It appears that Saurav Ganguly deliberately ignores Sachin's bowling talents and pays price for the same. Had sachin been given bowling against Shrilanka, possibly the result would have been different. Why our fast bowlers especially Zahir can not bowl with proper line & length? If any bowler who has spent hours at the net , should not have difficulties in getting line & length but when Zahir bowls it looks like some body has woken him up from the sleep and brought him directly for bowling. What is the use his experience and practice? Saurav's over dependence on some of the unreliable players and deliberate ignorance of available talents certainly has some game plan but unfortunately he has been consistently unsuccessful. It is high time that he should be questioned about his apperently illogical and bias way of handling the situation even at the cost of the match. Another question which needs to be addressed by the "CricketPundits" is what type of bowling is really useful in One day Cricket? Is it the accuracy, line and Length or Fast speed with 37 wides? We did not have Zareer in 1983 World Cups. We won the with the bowlers like Mohinder and Binny. We really need to think?

Hi Cricket Fan,
Just check which countries he has higher averages against? Most of his centuries against which countries?
Tendulkar has been Man of the series playing in Australia too!
In the world cup he performed! Every world cup he has performed.
He has smashed most of the world's bowlers apart,FYI if u r just born and remember its always a team game! No person has ever scored all of the runs required while chasing a Target or taken all of the required wickets! U can only play a major role!
If u r biased, like I can guess who, then no one can fix it.
I agree its just Bangladesh! But he doesn't have any of his 37 hundred against them? Go check all the vital stats before u write any comments on the person he is!

See Mr. ,Sachin is gr8 when sehwag is not there ganguly is not there he is the man among the all the gr8 heros like Azahar kapil manzrekar..he use to demolish the bowling attack...Don't mind Mr. but sachin has contributed to all the matches by any means like fielding or bowling or batting..he is gr8 If you think so its easy to play against ..McGrath..Lee shoib..so Mr.. you better join India team and face the speadsters..and then tell us..which is the easy thing, to blame or to play a ball which is comming to ur way ..150 KM/hr tell me and tell me who you are to blame ganguly sachin and others ..they are there bcoz they have the capabilities and ofcourse there is the difference in the Infrastructure of australia and India and if you are talking about Pak ..so Sachin played against them in the world cup..he Played well against them in Pakinstan..so wht you say..

Dude ( Cricket Fan ),
Nothing against you, but....
Tendulkar has won 50 ODI Man of the matches, out of which 10 are against Australia, 29 against the decent teams of England, WI, Pak, New Zealand etc. Only 10 are against MINNOWS like Zimbabwe, kenya and others.
His form was under speculation after 2002 when after the longest break of his career( abt 10~11 ODIs) due to leg injury(???) he was kept out. Then suddenly he plays in NZ where on pitches like crazy both teams did extremely bad and India lost miserably and he too was out of touch for a long time.
and FYI, Since 2002 he has won abt 8 Man of the Match awards 6 of them against better teams.
Do not write muck about others if you do not have figures. Its only after the era of Azar that other strong players have come up and India winning more.
For heaven's sake remove ur bias against that chap!
i feel parthiv sent as the opener was the cause for india's defeat against sri lanka.as a result of this decision india wasn't able to capitalise on the first 15 overs.parthiv was just trying to survive.in the end rahul yuv trying to consolidate the innings also wasted some balls.in the final overs although we had wickets,we lost due to shortage balls and that is because not many runs were made in the first 15 overs
It is indeed very heartening and painful for saurav fans to read articles againtst him ...this has not been the first timethat the media does this....everytime india loses the media doesn't take time to write against him-very sad sabita
