Melodramatic crap

What the heck is this guy talking about? He's making the bad breaks in his life sound like some tragic Bollywood script. Rediff should be more responsible about publishing articles/interviews. The way it's going, Rediff's articles are beginning to look frighteningly similar to Times of India's no-good stories.

Proud Father!!!
by Arpan on Oct 22, 2003 01:42 AM

The story narrated by Yuvraj's father was a real tear-jerking one. Don't worry, Mr. Yograj Singh, your son will definitely become a legend like Vivian Richards, Sachin Tendulkar or Clive Lloyd someday & that day is not very far off. Yuvraj will surely give you the opportunity to don the suit you had bought for your dear father (who, unfortunately, could not wear it). Also your wish that all those people who ruined your cricketing career be alive will be fulfilled someday or the other. LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON!!! A GREAT SON OF A GREATER FATHER!!!

Yograj and Yuvraj.
by Madhav on Oct 22, 2003 12:41 AM

Yograj,

May god bless you and your dreams come true. I do admire your spirit. the people who achive are the people who dream. Yuvraj is on his way to success. I liked your idea of not making to Mohali test and telling the son I will come when you are like one of the legends. Yuraj is on his way, in ODIs he has contributed a lot And I would be very happy to know you wore that Suit and watced Yovraj performing.
Most fathers do dream throgh their sons, but all son's aren't Yuvrajs.
All the best.
Madhav

Yes . I do agree and understand u YograjSing Bundhela....U were the best young bowler (under 19 team)in 1978.. before the pakistan tour (in 1978). There happened some politics and ur name was not there in the list.....Country has given birth to one great all rounder..and lost other greater one .... sad stuff....
And then they gave u chance against NZ and also toured to Aus......but without any good breaks..
God bless U and whole family....Sorry abt your father.

A Winner!
a true soul!
by A Winner! on Oct 21, 2003 10:19 PM

the world is never an easy place to live in and people never make it any easier.
i am sure that Mr.Yograj Singh will find what he wants because a person who "never gives up" will always get what he aims at and will rise high.
after all God blesses those who have a TRUE heart and an even more TRUE soul.
will power is something that seems to be disappearing from this world but people who have that determination, like Mr.Singh, will definitely come up in life.
i give all my sincere wishes to Mr.Singh and I do hope that a determined person like him (a go-getter!) will find happiness in this world after all that he got from people (those ppl who luv ruining lives!) but those ppl should never and will never be able to break the barrier of faith and trust that is very much present in Yograj Singh.
way to go SIR!
-from a person who wishes to see more true hearts in this world! (I,a gal, havent been able to see many true souls in this world inspite of living for a decade and a half!)

Wounderful Article
by Kirit Raja on Oct 21, 2003 07:41 PM

A wounderful Article full of sentiments. It was a sad story of Yograj Singh's life. I strongly agree with him that politics in Indian Cricket ruined career of so many bright cricketers. But now it is the time to be happy for him. The way Yuvraj plays, I am confident that he will fulfill all dreams of his parents and all Indians. Very good luck to Yuvraj.
